“Huge rave to Lake Country Optometry! Yesterday, I scratched my cornea with a piece of sand and was in an incredible amount of pain. They got me in as quickly as possible, and I was seen by Dr. Lisa Zhang. She was not only knowledgeable and efficient, but also incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate. Less than 20 minutes later, I was picking up my antibiotic drops from Turtle Bay Pharmacy, and today I woke up feeling 100 times better. We are so lucky to have this level of exceptional care right here in Lake Country. They’ve also cared for my daughter, and every experience we’ve had has been the same: knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely kind. “We moved here from Northern Ontario which has been our home for 70 years. I have been wearing glasses since Grade 4 & been seeing pretty much the same optometrist & ophthalmologist for years. As we all know, taking care of our eye sight is so very, very important so trying to find the right place here was scary for me. In saying that, I definitely found the PERFECT place in Lake Country Optometry. From the minute I walked in the door I was greeted by the friendly receptionist & the modern/clean office. I then had my pretest with Kenzie, so friendly, kind & easy to talk with, making feel like 'yes' I picked a good place. My appointment was with Dr Lisa who was so friendly, knowledgeable, informative...explained everything about the what was going on with my eyes & even showed me pics. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had with either my optometrist or ophthalmologist over the years. I even got a hug from Dr Lisa.
