“If you want to get fixed, GO SEE CARL! He is best bodyworker and healer on Vancouver Island because he knows how to fix the root of the problem, not just your symptoms like your typical practitioners. Carl is very knowledgeable about the body and rolfing. My nervous system always feels completely balanced after his sessions. “Very clean studio with a very experienced gentleman providing great work! Carl got me in on short notice, provided education aswell as relief. Very noticeable results after my first visit, highly recommend! Not being an RMT made no difference to me. Insurance coverage or not our bodies need to function, and $120/hr is a small price to pay for someone providing as much education, quality of work, and dedication to their craft. Plus it means he is interested in giving you results, not ensuring you come back next month for another insurance covered massage. Treat your body right and it will treat YOU right! “While passing through town, stopped for a treatment. Nice, new home studio space. But be forewarned, despite being described on google as a massage therapist, he is not registered. This was never made clear to me and I won’t be able to claim the treatment under insurance as a result. His prices are also quite high at $120/hr considering that he is not actually an RMT. The massage was also a bit strange. He wanted to do it through my shirt and when I took my shirt off, used no oils so it was quite abrasive and chaffing. Also, it was done almost exclusively while laying on my side, which meant I had to brace myself throughout. Generally not a great experience despite him being quite a nice man.”Read moreShow less
