Great little out of the way beach. Shallow water for kids at low tide. Beautiful, don't tell anyone!

If you are there during low tide, there are many crystal quite ponds that you can wade, play or swim in, and lots of fun sea creatures for you to discover! Get a Tidal Fishing License, try to find some shellfishes or even oysters!

Beautiful beach to explore the tide pools, see the crabs, star fish, shells, sand dollars, and colorful seaweeds. A fantastic way to still the mind and just be one with nature.

I have been coming to this place for 40 years.. it's the best. And if I start telling you why.. then you'll invite all your friends and I don't want that.

You can walk for miles along the low tide ocean water and watch little crabs run in the sand. Nice clear water…much better than Spanish Bank in Vancouver.

This is a gorgeous beach, beautiful sand and wonderful water near the Comox airport. Long walk to get to the ocean at low tide but worth it to take a cooling dip. Cool to see and hear the planes and helicopters taking off and landing at the air force base right next door. Family friendly with a new jungle gym style playground adjacent to the parking lot.

Great beach for a walk or gathering. There are some nice Sandy spots to relax and enjoy, mostly a rocky beach. I find it great for an evening gathering with friends.

Beautiful beach area with cabins and also places to rent. Very quiet. There are no stores nearby so if you stayed here you would need to bring your own food etc.

Amazing beach. Great to visit in the summer as the beach fills the bay when the tide goes out. A little cold in the winter and spring but still amazing views.

Pin on the map labeled Kye Bay seems to be off a bit and is marking a point rather than the bay. If you want the Bay and the beach walking, go to the pin labeled "Children's Playground and Parking for beach access" as shown in the photo below for more reviews and better directions. Same general area as the one labeled Kye Bay but very different vibe in the bay vs the point - you have to drive by the Bay parking to get to the point, you won't get lost!
