Dr Smythe understood my concerns due to my past experience with a different dentist. The staff were very professional and welcoming.

I have been going to this dental practice for many years. They have looked after me very well and I'd highly recommend Kits Dental Group.

Wonderful dentist. Top notch. Knows what he is doing. And so do his staff. They are extremely joyful and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Dr Smythe is one of the best dentists I have ever had the pleasure of booking with. He is skilled, kind, and patient, and gave me plenty of breaks for my TMJ syndrome. I came in for some dental fillings and barely felt a thing, it was super quick and gentle! Elnaz at the front is always lovely as well, she is so helpful with explaining insurance and payments. Thank you Kits Point Dental Group for fixing my teeth!!

They were incredibly kind. The reception staff and the doctor were all wonderful, caring, and professional. Even though I came in unexpectedly, they helped me quickly and treated me with great care. I feel very lucky to have found such an amazing dental clinic, and I would love to continue coming here in the future.

Everything you could want in a dentist…calm, efficient, nimble and knowledgeable. Reception was professional and welcoming while the beachy vibes did wonders for this high anxiety, less than ideal client. I’m so grateful to have found this gem!

Dr. Smythe is such a great dentist! He explains everything clearly, makes sure you’re comfortable, and you can really tell he knows his craft. The whole team is welcoming and professional, and I always leave feeling well taken care of. I’d happily recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy dentist.

I had an odd experience here a couple of weeks ago and since this was my first visit here, and I found the clinic off of the reviews, I thought I should add mine. I initially found the clinic because I've been searching for a place I could purchase night-guards. I figured I would also establish care as a new patient since I have been looking for a new dentist as well. They accepted me as a new patient right away, I shared my insurance info during my scheduling appointment call and was assured that my insurance would cover 100% of the new patient visit. Day of my appointment, I was given the usual - Tons of X-rays (that I would rather opt out of but are mandatory); a typical cleaning and a visit by the doctor to review my needs (I don't have any cavities, have healthy teeth and so we mostly focused on my past treatments and the discussed the mouth guard). There was some waiting for my appointment and in between which although inconvenient, I was okay with. I did also discuss maybe needing gum treatments in the future, for which I was given, what I believe was an inferior treatment plan (the doctor suggested filling in the teeth which would elongate them and look unattractive, and eventually have to be replaced, instead of a gum graft - a more typical and long-term solution) and the doctor noted that since the gum graft wasn’t his specialty, he wouldn’t recommend it. I mentioned I would rather get a gum graft when needed (this is not a present issue, just something that might end up needing addressing in the future). This was my light bulb moment that this might be a very money-driven clinic.
When I went to check out, I was given a bill for $105 on top of my insurance’s 100% coverage of the $500 checkup/cleanup. I asked what the extra charge was for since I was told that my work was covered ahead of my appointment. The receptionist said, “it’s because our doctor is experienced”. I assumed all doctors with their own practice are experienced but didn’t realize that would justify a surcharge on a basic cleaning and a 5 min checkup with the doctor. I’ve never felt hustled by a doctor’s office before. I paid and left, but I’m now once again looking for a new doctor. I have healthy teeth because I’ve been careful about who I let take care of them and I would not trust a doctor that looks at me like a dollar sign. I leave 2 stars for the quick communication and the hygienists who did their job well.

First time here and I felt at home, they were very patient with me since I don't speak English very well, I felt like they were family, tomorrow I have a second appointment and it's the first time I want to go back to a dentist, I'm glad I found them.
