“This was our first time visiting the Kids Dental Richmond Hill location, and we had such a great experience. All of the staff members were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. They were right on schedule for my daughter’s appointment, which we really appreciated. Dr. Lee carefully reviewed my daughter’s previous X-rays and took the time to address all of my concerns. She explained everything very clearly, including the possible treatment options and next steps, which made us feel very comfortable and informed. “My family and I had a wonderful experience at Kids Dental Group! My daughter needed extensive dental work done, and we opted for General Anesthesia. Dr Zee, Dr Wong, and Nurse Andrew were wonderful on the day of her procedure and made all of us ( especially our daughter ) feel very safe and comfortable! We appreciated their incredibly warm bedside manner with our 6 year old daughter, and their thorough explanation about how everything would go. “Yes, the hygienists are nice and friendly. Yes, they have fun decors and give out toys and treats. However, their approach do make not just myself, but many friends who eventually stopped going, feel pressured for all the x-rays they consistently recommend the kids to get. And they take more than 2,3 times when it’s unsuccessful, because obviously most little kids don’t sit still. We stayed for a few more years after we initially felt like this and thought it was normal practice until we asked around. It does feel like a cash grab to push for X-rays on a 4, 5 year old. And when you do refuse X rays, you can feel the attitude from the staff right away. Most receptionist are nice, but the older one has an attitude issue. Maybe it’s service refusal related but who knows. Im surprised not more parents have an issue with what we’ve experienced. Do expect to pay a higher fee compare with non pediatric clinic, and may need to pay out of pocket at times even if you have insurance coverage.”Read moreShow less

“My child has been a patient here for many years, but our recent experiences have become increasingly disappointing. It feels as though the clinic is prioritizing profit from X-rays over patient care. They perform expensive imaging without checking if our insurance provides full coverage or consulting us beforehand. Even with high-quality employer-provided Sunlife insurance, we were left with 50% of the x-ray and examination costs out-of-pocket. Since this has happened twice now, I would advise others to be very cautious about their billing practices.”Read moreShow less
