Fantastic Experience!! The team is professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about their patients. My treatment was effective and saw great improvements in a short time. Highly recommend!

"Playing semi-pro basketball for the Lake City 56’ers puts an incredible amount of stress on the body, and I honestly don't think I'd be competing at this level right now without the team at Key Physio and Body N’ Sole. I was dealing with a brutal case of plantar fasciitis right as the selection process was starting. I was worried the pain would sideline me before the season even began, but their combined expertise kept me on the floor and performing. It is exceptionally convenient that both clinics are located in the same building. This makes my treatment incredibly streamlined and easily accessible—which is vital for a high-performance athlete during a busy season. Beyond the elite care, they are fantastic to communicate with. Booking is always timely and effortless, fitting perfectly into my training schedule. The therapists at Key Physio handled the targeted recovery work, while Body N’ Sole provided custom orthotics that have been a complete game-changer. Not only did they help me manage the initial pain, but they also serve as a crucial preventative measure to ensure the plantar fasciitis doesn't return. From getting me through the initial tryouts to keeping me healthy and mobile as the season continues, their care allows me to focus entirely on my game. I highly recommend them to any athlete who needs professional, efficient, and elite-level care to stay court-ready. On a personal note, I was deeply touched how excited everyone was when they learned I made the team, despite facing obstacles. A genuine emotional connection to a client's success is a hard attribute to come by. I cannot wait to make my debut this weekend!"

KEY Physiotherapy is fantastic! The knowledgeable team at KEY team took me on after a serious knee injury. We’ve been working together for 2 and a half months now and I couldn’t be more thankful for the progress they’ve enabled with their expertise and customized approach to my situation. Would 100% recommend!

I have been a patient at Key Physiotherapy for treatment for a little over a year. Key Physiotherapy is a very friendly and welcoming environment. Especially their beautiful dog coco who is also part of the Key Physiotherapy family. I have tried other Physiotherapy clinics and they do not compare. I would recommend Key Physiotherapy above the rest. Not sure where I would be without the care of my physiotherapist Mark.

They are the best! More than 2 years of treatment with Mark Howard (hand therapist/physiotherapist) and Bobi MacKinnon (occupational therapist),and one of the most important employee, Coco the emotional support specialist :), I am graduating this Friday, January 16 and even if it is a good news, I do feel sad. Everyone who work in this clinic is awesome, they all have played an important role in my healing journey, physically and mentally. Professional, always smiling, caring, and I can keep going. I will miss you all and I can't thank you enough for all your support during my rehab. Thank you

I love Key Physio!!! After going to Key Physio for the past 3 years, I can’t imagine going anywhere else. All of the staff are so kind and caring. Especially their employee of the month (and every month) Coco!!! While the team helps me physically, Coco helps me mentally. Having such a well behaved clinic dog check on you during your appointment, and workout, is everything to me. The clinic is run so beautifully. They all care about their patients so much. Everyone has such a welcoming vibe, and I feel such a sense of safety whenever I walk in their doors. #keyphysioforever

Highly recommend Key Physio! I have been to this clinic for two separate issues over the past year and am so impressed by the professionalism, friendliness, and warmth of all of the staff there - especially Coco, the clinic’s pup. She is such a sweetheart!

Public Review – KEY Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre (Halifax) I had a very distressing and disappointing experience at KEY Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre – Halifax. During my first occupational therapy visit, before entering the clinic, I noticed a large, unleashed dog inside the facility. I have a severe phobia of dogs, and I do not expect to encounter a loose animal in a healthcare setting. I tried to communicate with the reception staff to move the dog so I could enter safely. Although the dog was moved briefly, it was not placed on a leash and approached me again while I was explaining my fear. I felt terrified, unsafe, and extremely uncomfortable. Eventually, the staff locked the dog in one of the clinic rooms. I chose to proceed with my appointment and showed understanding, assuming it was an isolated oversight. I would like to note that my therapist, Tina, was excellent and professional. Unfortunately, the same situation occurred again. One week later, during a follow-up visit at 8:55 a.m., there was no one at the reception desk. While I was waiting, the same large black dog suddenly appeared at my feet, unattended and unleashed. I was extremely frightened and had to leave the clinic immediately. This experience was unacceptable. Patients should feel safe and respected in a healthcare environment. The presence of an unleashed dog inside a clinic—especially after this concern was already raised—raises serious concerns about patient safety, accessibility, and professional standards. Due to the repeated nature of this issue, I will be communicating with the appropriate official authorities in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to formally raise a complaint and ensure this matter is addressed. I am deeply saddened by this experience, as the clinical care itself was good, but the clinic environment felt unsafe and poorly managed.

I work with my hands, they are my livelihood. When I injured myself I wasn't sure if I would gain function in my hand again. After surgery I had a choice of a number of physiotherapy places, I chose key physiotherapy because they were close to my house. I was very lucky to have made that choice because each individual at key physiotherapy made me feel like I was in the right place. I was given guidance on when to push myself and went to let myself heal. I learned the importance of recovery. I was given access to a gym where I could focus on strengthening and healing. They showed me enormous support and through that support I have regained the use of my hand and kept my strength. If you find yourself injured and you're looking for a place to aid in your recovery I could not recommend a better place of professionals.

I was referred to a couple physio clinics to get help with a persistent knee issue...I'm so happy I chose Key Physio! From fun chats with Kayleigh at reception to Coco (official hardest working clinician and best doggo nose nuzzles) and his mom Christine with very caring nature and exercises to continue therapy at home to Mark, physiotherapist who just never gave up working to get to a diagnosis and solution to assist in healing. My experiences with this team has been nothing less than extremely impressed and thankful! It's a team setting/feeling to get you back to feeling good again! I highly recommend this clinic to everyone! Thank you KEY Physio!
