Brock is extremely knowledgeable and professional. When you’re dealing with the health and performance of your body you want the very best. He will be my first suggestion going forward!

***This is not a positive review*** It isn’t my intention to hurt this business’ rating so I’m selecting the 5 star option. I saw Kristina for a prolonged period of time for chiropractic & functional fitness services. I benefited from both up until I experienced an injury because of choices made by Kristina, for which she’s refused to take accountability. I specifically wanted to train with her and not a personal trainer because I thought that as a chiropractor, she would be the best option for me as I tried to strengthen my body. I thought she would have the knowledge of what is dangerous considering my pain history. I respect her athletic capabilities, but the “CrossFit attitude” that “you’re stronger than you think” which she always pushed turned out to be incredibly harmful. I first hurt myself doing a deadlift in January 2025 in a program that Kristina created for me. I attempted one again in February 2025 as per Kristina’s suggestion and under her watch. I hurt myself again. So she removed deadlifts from the program. But it was too late. Before I mention how the pain escalated to the point where I had to go to the ER, I would like to share the following: Over the past year I’ve gotten opinions from 2 different physiatrists, 2 different physiotherapists, an orthopaedic surgeon, and a sports medicine doctor. Everyone’s conclusion is that someone like me, with my pain history and known hip issues should never have even done a deadlift in the first place. In May 2025, Kristina got me to do a circuit of 500 m ski ergs, 200 m rows, and 8 squats. On the second set, I verbay stated that it hurt to pull the ski erg. I also said that the rowing hurt. In the classic CrossFit-person attitude, Kristina advised me to keep pushing. By the third and last set, I could barely pull the ski erg ropes. At the end, I wanted to cry. I did cry that night, because I could barely sleep from the pain, and I woke up the next day unable to bend down to wash my face. I was very honest with Kristina that I was upset by her choices. She didn’t take accountability and instead called me “hostile.” We then cut ties. If I wanted to be hostile, I could have reported her to the college, but all I wanted was an acknowledgement that she made bad choices. I did not get that. If you are someone with very weak, unstable, hips, if you can barely stand on one leg, have hyper mobility and labral tears, you probably shouldn’t be doing deadlifts. This is a dangerous lift, even if you don’t have all those issues. Kristina was making me lift stupidly heavy weights (95 lb + 45 lb bar). For reference, I am a 130 lb 5’4 female with no athletic background. I already had chronic hip issues before I saw Kristina. I now have chronic back pain that I’ve been suffering from for a year. It has significantly affected my quality of life and ability to do my job. Just because someone is very athletic like Kristina, doesn’t mean you won’t get injured under their care. In fact, you should probably stay away from anything related to “competitive CrossFit attitude” if you’re just a normal person trying to safely strengthen your body. Or at the very least, exercise a high degree of caution and do not listen to anyone who tells you to “push through.” You will regret it.

Brock did an amazing job assessing and treating my son’s knee. He took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made my son feel completely comfortable throughout the appointment. His expertise and calm approach gave us a lot of confidence, and we saw improvement right away. We’re extremely grateful for his help and would recommend Brock to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring chiropractor!

Dr. Kristina De Los Reyes for Chiro and Emerito Reyes for the massage - I’ve had one appointment with each, and it’s 5 stars all around. Very welcoming and informative, and I’ve left my first meetings with them more informed. Looking forward to all the benefits each session will bring!

I recently visited Kevlar Performance and Rehab for chiropractic treatment to address my back pain, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. Dr. Brock Novak is truly exceptional—his approachable and genuine demeanor immediately put me at ease. He took the time to thoroughly explain his treatment protocol, ensuring I understood each step of the process and felt confident in his approach. Dr. Novak’s extensive knowledge and attention to detail made a significant difference in my recovery, and I left feeling much better than when I arrived. The care and professionalism I experienced at Kevlar Performance and Rehab have set a high standard, and I wholeheartedly give them a 5 out of 5 rating. If you’re seeking effective, compassionate chiropractic care, I highly recommend giving Dr. Novak and his team a visit. When I arrive at Kevlar I am always greeted warmly and openly. Usually leading to a 10 -15 conversation. I feel very welcome at Kevlar, but most importantly feel healthier because of Kevlar.

I had my first visit to Kevlar Performance & Rehab today, and I’m already so impressed! Dr. Brock took the time to thoroughly explain everything in a way that was clear and easy to understand. The facility is top-notch, and it’s refreshing to finally find a place that truly understands what I’m trying to achieve with my treatment. I’ve been to a few other places before, but nothing compares to the level of care I received here. I’m really looking forward to continuing with such a knowledgeable team! Highly recommend!

Great experience! Both Brock and Kristina have a warm welcoming demeanour that immediately relaxes you and makes you feel that you’ve come to the right place whether to rehabilitate an injury or simply pursue improved performance in your fitness and achieve a better sense of overall wellness. They have the unique skill set of combining their technical expertise as doctors to discern/diagnose issues and then relay them in layman’s terms so that patients can easily understand them while providing treatment to heal them. Together, with excellent staff and an outstanding facility, rest assured you are in great hands at this capable and competent practice. I appreciate you guys!

Very professional and well-run system. Everything from booking through to follow up was seamless and non-intimidating. Dr. Kristina is awesome - she took time to thoroughly understand and assess my situation, made me feel comfortable during treatment, helped me understand my symptoms, and equipped me with the knowledge & tools I needed to feel confident in my progression back to the activities I love. My main priority was to get help from someone I can trust, count on, and feel heard by - I would highly recommend the Kevlar team to anyone who feels the same way.
