“I had total hip replacement just over a year ago. I started seeing Hoda just previous to surgery to set a game plan. Thanks to her steady guidance and caring attention , l am back working, playing hockey and skiing pain free. I can’t say enough about how she kept me grounded and tempered my expectations early on. With the help of Denise my hydro therapist and Vlad for massage, she set me on a path to success. “I have been going to Keswick active health weekly and have always had a great experience. Every staff member is professional, friendly and they care deeply about their patients. The facility is modern and very clean. If you have been in chronic pain, you will not regret going to Keswick active health. Hoda is an amazing physiotherapist and an incredible human being. She has done more for me than any doctor or specialist ever has. She is knowledgeable, empathetic and kind. When I started seeing Hoda I was sleeping less than 1 hour per night from severe low back pain and radicular leg pain from a lumbosacral disc issue. After spinal injections didn’t work, the pain specialist told me it was unlikely that I would ever get better and advised me to learn to accept the pain, so I was very disheartened. When Hoda saw me she reassured me there is hope and that she will help me get better. She is skilled in shockwave therapy, high energy laser therapy, interferential current therapy, manual traction, therapeutic ultrasound, acupuncture and physical therapy exercises. She helped me strengthen my core which has improved my pain overtime. She is a very skilled and gentle acupuncturist which makes you feel comfortable and safe. I was unable to work because of my severe pain and Hoda has helped me slowly return back to work. Hoda is truly one of a kind and the best physiotherapist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I trust her judgment completely and would never go to any other physiotherapist. “Very kind and friendly staff—so welcoming and kind each time I come in. Lots of laughs, and a team of people who are dedicated to helping people heal and live their best lives! Stacey, Sabrina, & all of the people at reception who handle client services are so kind, thoughtful & amazing. Vlad is an unbelievable massage therapist and the best I’ve ever had— I say this because I am a bigger guy, and it’s often hard to find someone able to manipulate my joints and to help stretch and relieve tension and release points— he can. I can’t recommend him enough, as his own strength and great physical shape shows he takes care of himself and can help younger and active people stay in great form. I have also seen George a few times for dry needling as I get physiotherapy on my shoulder and rotator cuff, and this has been incredibly helpful. Fay’s massages and acupuncture are great, and I have enjoyed what acupuncture adds to this. The contrast therapy is amazing— the cold plunge and sauna therapy has given me tremendous results for relaxation and mindful strength. I go a couple times a week, never wanting to do the cold plunge, but after 10 to 15 minutes of baking in the sauna, it is surprisingly inviting. It is incredible for someone with anxiety and ADHD, as triggering our more primitive brains in such a manner through contrast therapy, makes it hard to ruminate or think about anything but deep breathing. After the half hour I spend doing these things I always leave feeling way better and the results are again to when I do a quick jog, and this is the equivalent of that runners high if you managed to challenge yourself and stick with it. I’m so glad I did. They have so many services here, and it’s a fantastic location for anyone in this end of town or anyone willing to come for some high-quality self-care services that focus on improving life and life quality.
