“Following shoulder surgery, I experienced severe swelling down my entire arm which rendered it totally unusable. I was referred to Karen by my physiotherapist for lymphatic massage . She was both extremely professional from the very beginning but also understanding, as she had experienced lymphatic challenges herself. We began a series of almost daily massages as she slowly and methodically stimulated the lymph system to recover from the trauma that had impaired the ability to circulate the fluids. What was discovered later was that I had also experienced trauma to my brachial plexus and three nerves had been damaged. We continued 4-5 times per week for about 6 weeks until the swelling was almost completely gone and then reduced to once a week for another month. My doctors were amazed at the full remediation of the swelling, and although I am still experiencing nerve impairment almost a year later, there were no further lymphatic issues. I have recommended Karen a number of times to others, as has my physiotherapist. This was a long overdue review, but important for me to thank her for her significant role in my recovery.”Read moreShow less
