“I have been going to Ironwood Optometry to see Dr Kim for 15 years. From someone who works in customer service, I can sincerely say the customer service at this clinic is top notch. The front end staff are so warm and professional. I never have to wait for my appointment and Dr Kim is very personable and gracious explaining everything thoroughly. He has a way of making you feel very comfortable during the exam. They have an excellent selection of frames to choose from and the staff are very helpful in assisting to choose the right pair. Definitely recommend this exceptional clinic.”

“I have had the pleasure of being a client of Dr. Kim's, at Ironwood Optometry Clinic in Richmond, BC for many years, and I continue to be impressed by their exceptional professionalism, integrity, and customer service. Recently, I had lenses replaced on my eyeglasses, and the clinic informed me that the third-party provider handling the frames accidentally broke them. While this could have been a frustrating situation, I was genuinely impressed by how the Ironwood team handled it. Not only were the frames promptly replaced, but the staff kept me informed throughout the entire process. They treated me with respect and transparency, ensuring that I was never left in the dark. “Dr Joanne Chan accepted an emergency appointment for me very close to the holidays when I called the office in a panic because of Floaters I suddenly began experiencing. She was calm, professional, very friendly and very thorough. She was efficient with our time together and she made me feel very comfortable during my panic stages! Aside from the floaters, she even quickly isolated and diagnosed something on my eye that other practitioners have seen for years but required me to go in for multiple specialist visits not even to yield any information. But Dr. Joanne Chan was able to see this variation on my eye, tell me what it was, and informed me it was nothing to worry about- all on my first visit! The entire staff takes your visit very seriously and they are very professional and a friendly office. Highly recommend!”
