Overview: Overall, an amazing place! I started coming here 1 year ago [April 2025] & I have completed 75 strength training small group classes so far. Iron97 is only a little over 2 years old. Although Jesse & Kristina (the owners) are not technically a "mom & pop", I describe it to friends & family as a local boutique "mom & pop" type place. The best part is the welcoming & "family feel" atmosphere that Jesse & Kristina have created. Services - mainly Physio, Strength Training & RMT: Iron97 has a variety of services & looks at each client in their entirety as a whole. Jesse & Kristina complement each other's skill sets, which include but are not limited to physiotherapy, kinesiology (scientific study of human movement), fitness training, etc. For example, even if I'm only dealing with Jesse, Kristina will still be aware of my overall situation & behind the scenes, both of them can have input into the game plan to make me better & stronger. This also happens vice versa, so if I'm only dealing with Kristina, Jesse can also have input. Where Iron97 positively differs from other clinics is that they promote movement & building strength to get better, instead of the traditional guidance of rest, ice and/or anti-inflammatory medicine. Of course, for the times when those are needed, they aren't against it. For strength training, they offer 1:1 & group training classes [max 6 people]. Also, in terms of services, within the last year, they have brought in Lisa, a licensed RMT for Massage Therapy (currently, as of Apr.'26, only available on Tuesdays). Lisa's massage is good & she can also work on children, which my 10-year-old son appreciated. There are 2 bathrooms available, but no shower. Other good things I discovered during my Journey: +Not Money Hungry = In April'25, I first came to Iron97 due to a free Physio Consultation promotion from Facebook. After I received my report from the Consultation, I appreciated their honesty, saying that I didn't need a full Physio Assessment (currently, as of Apr.'26, priced at $130), so I could save some money, especially since I would have had to pay out of pocket. They do issue physiotherapy receipts, but I was out of physio insurance coverage at that time. +No exercises to be done at home = For my issues, Jesse recommended strength training with the long metal bar, which is different from all the other physiotherapy that I have done. It is great, as I hate having to do exercises at home, as inevitably I fall off the wagon. I had done my own workouts at home (very sporadically) & group classes at commercial gyms (>a decade ago), but I had never trained with the long metal bar, so I was a little nervous. I appreciated how they taught me how to use it properly. +Individual Attention = Although I have only done the small group classes, I still get individual attention to tweak things since each person's body proportions are slightly different. Even as I do reps, they will guide me as I go & provide cues so that I can correct. I appreciate that, as it makes me less worried about hurting myself. The group classes have 4 main exercises (we only do 3 per class) & those are squats, bench press, overhead press, & deadlifts. I like how it is sprinkled with other exercises as Jesse & Kristina see fit. Even though it is a group class, there may be someone doing deadlifts, but for that day, Jesse/Kristina may decide that lat pulldowns are better for me. +Education = I like how nothing is pushed down your throat, but if you want to learn more & get a better understanding of why certain exercises are being done, they will verbally explain it, along with drawing diagrams on a whiteboard, which makes it easier to visualize & grasp the concept for people like me without a fitness background. +Quality Equipment = I like how all the main equipment comes from another local company, Bells of Steel, that only sells high-quality equipment. Iron97 provides accessories like weightlifting belts & chalk to use free of charge so clients don't need to spend extra $ or bring large gym bags of stuff.

Iron 97 is one of those places where you read the reviews and realize people come in broken and leave stronger than they were before the injury. 50 reviews at a perfect 5.0 with that kind of depth doesn't happen without real care behind it. Jesse, Kristina, if you're reading this I put together a whole video breakdown on the backend. It's in your inbox. Look for the email with the thumbnail. 5 minutes and it's specific to Iron 97.

I saw Iron 97 on Instagram. Did some research and gave them a call. Jesse answered the phone asked him a couple of questions and booked a consultation. Explained my situation and started last week with Iron 97. Let me tell you Jesse and Kristina know there stuff WOW. About me I had reconstructive hip replacement June 2025 and am still going to physiotherapy. Still having pain in my hip and lower back. Went there for the second time this week and let me tell you I can get up from a chair or sofa without any pain. I can't believe it. Jese gives me guidance on my squatting and deadlifting to strengthepn my hips and back. Thank you guys for what you guys do.

I found Iron 97 from a buddy who recommended me, I had to been to MANY massage therapy places (several RMT's, osteopaths, chiropractors, dr visits) looking for answers on why my shoulders and back hurt.. same lame answers "get some rest" "try stretching a bit" none of that worked obviously, but when I tried Iron97 out it was WAY different. Jesse actually takes the time to explain what's going on in the muscles and tendons, and then he shows you how to get stronger, target the muscles being effected, and eliminate pain.. every other physio I went to tried light weights or bands, didn't help.. turns out I just needed to get my squat from 100lbs to 235lbs and my deadlift from 120lbs to 275lbs, it's crazy what happens when you get stronger and give your Muscles support, I HIGHLY recommend Iron97, and I send all my family and friends there. THANKS Jesse and Kristina for all the help.

I started seeing Iron 97 for physiotherapy after a flaring up a back injury playing sports. Their hands-on, strength-based approach to recovery has helped me resolve those issues, improving my confidence and capability to engage in recreational sports and every day life pain-free. They take the time to teach you how to lift correctly, explain the logic and science behind it all, and keep you on track to see results. Since transitioning to strength training with them I've felt stronger and more durable than ever. Kristina and Jesse have been incredibly supportive and I would recommend them to anyone!

I highly recommend Iron 97! This place has been a real game-changer for me. I saw Jesse for a lower back pain issue that I’ve had for a long time. I appreciate that he didn’t use cookie cutter solutions and he really worked to make sure the solution was customized to my issue specifically. My results were amazing. I’ve gone from avoiding putting strain on my back to squatting and deadlifting more weight than I ever thought I could handle. I have also done numerous group exercises led by Kristina who is an amazing personal trainer who brings an awesome energy to her classes. She really knows her stuff and is always happy to answer questions. I’ve been doing classes with both Kristina and Jesse now for several months now and I’m in the best shape of my life. On top of all of this, they are genuinely nice people who care about what they do. This place is a gem!

I have been atttending sessions with the Iron 97 team for a few weeks now. From the moment I walk in I feel welcome all my questions are always addressed throughly. I have used the services of the massage therapist Lisa who is excellent as well as attended several strenght and rehabilitation sessions with Jesse. I was looking for a way back into fitness after an injury and Iron 97 team provided me with the missing piece. They addresses not only my aches and pains but showed me the way and guided me to build strength through fitness. The sessions are quick and intensive and they have the advantage of one on one personal training. This was very important to me because the last thing that I wanted when I got back into fitness was another injury. I am a woman in my 50s and my fitness and strenght have become a priority to me as I age. The team at Iron 97 is instrumental in helping me achieve my health and fitness goals. Highly recommend them!

Kristina and Jesse are two of the kindest and most down-to-earth people I know. Not only are they patient and knowledgeable coaches, but they are great people, period. My partner has been training with Jesse since Iron 97 opened their doors, and he has seen great results in his overall strength and fitness. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone without reservation.

It all started when I was looking for a physiotherapist in the area who specialized in strength and exercise related injuries. I had issues with my shoulder and lower back, that got aggravated from exercise. Jesse and Kristina took me in as a new client with open arms. They are some of the friendliest people I’ve met, who really go above and beyond to assess you, treat your injuries, and give you expert advice related to strengthen your entire body. Shortly after my assessment and treatments, I already started to feel better and motivated to get back at the gym, after some of the injuries that stopped me. The unique thing is Jesse can tailor your treatment plan using certain exercises, showing you proper form in his gym too. It’s incredibly convenient to know you are lifting and exercising properly while undergoing treatment all under one roof. The group classes they run sparked my interest eventually, and I can honestly say it’s motivated me in ways I could not of expected before. Never thought I’d be able to lift weight heavier than me haha. The group strength classes always are so supportive and run very smoothly. Iron 97 keeps track of your weight and rep progression week by week so you can grow and become stronger than ever, like how I feel today. Give Iron 97 a try and see for yourself 😊.

Jesse has been the only physiotherapist to actually help me with several issues I have had other the years. From my knee, to my hip, even my sprained thumb/wrist. I play multiple sports and he has kept me playing without pain or issues. Not only does he provide the therapy side of physio, the strength training and exercises have also greatly helped improve my overall strength and agility. Jesse and Kristina have created a unique place where you can work to not only heal, but better your physical wellbeing. I can’t recommend them enough!
