“I went there to get a lump in my lower eyelid checked. It had been there for months by then and would get better then worse again. They were quick to pass me the same day and as it was a health related issue, it was covered by msp. The optometrist, Dr. Lauzon, said it was only a stye and that it could just stay there for ever and there was nothing to do. She was being very dismissive as I was trying to explain to her it bothered me a lot because of the appearance. She said it was useless to refer me to a ophtalmologist to get it surgically removed as it would take so so long. Now, 2-3 weeks later, I've gone to the medical clinic only to be told that it wasn't as stye but a chalizion. They refered me to an ophtalmologist and within 2 weeks i got an appointment. Wrong diagnosis, very dismissive and just didnt seem to care. Quite disappointed. First time and surely last.”Read moreShow less

“The reason IRIS isn't booked out as far as the other Optometrists in the area for eye exams isn't because they aren't busy, it's because they are very efficient and well organized. Sarah walked me through all the preliminary tests & imaging ahead of the start time of my scheduled appointment. Dr. McClinchey started her examination right on time and was friendly, professional and answered every question I asked. “Everywhere else in the valley was booking a month or more in advance for an eye exam but Iris was able to get me in 2 days later. The atmosphere inside the office was calm and professional. The lady at the front desk, followed by the lady who did my eye exam, and then the optometrist herself, were all so nice, friendly and accommodating.
