Justin has worked with me for my knee and elbow issues. He is very attentive and in-tune with appropriate exercises to help me recover and feel stronger. We have progressed to lifting heavier weights now and I feel great. All thanks to Justin's guidance!

I had been working with Justin for my wrist after a significant injury over the winter. He is an excellent physiotherapist! He is patient, honest, and caring, taking the time to have a thorough conversation with me about my injury, answer all my questions, and to explain the plan to me. He provided expert guidance with exercises and treatments to help me recover from my injury and get me back to golf in time for the summer.

After reading rave reviews for Chris, I decided to reach out for a minor hamstring injury and I am so glad that I did! He was very attentive in assessing the extent of my injury and made a clear treatment plan. His explanation of each exercise was very detailed and would correct my form to ensure the best results. After 3 visits I already saw significant improvement in my injury! Fast forward many months later, I am practically back to my pre injury mobility and I am so grateful for his help! Would highly recommend!

Chris is the most knowledgeable physiotherapist I have worked with. I’ve been dealing with a chronic foot injury as well as a “shoulder” injury. He’s provided the most effective program which has reduced my pain significantly and with his help I’m feeling confident in moving like an athlete again. He provides detailed explanations and allows me to take videos of demos so I have my own reference which make at-home rehab very accessible. I’d highly recommend him!!

Chris is amazing! Went to him to treat an ankle injury. He is very methodical in his examination, and explanations. His knowledge really comes through in the custom exercises that he created catering to the very specific problem that I had and my limitations. His treatment was very effective and when I had a knee issue per year later, I went back to him and received the same excellent treatment. Couldn’t recommend more.

I can’t recommend my physiotherapist Chris enough. He was absolutely the best in helping me recover from my leg injury—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Every session made a real difference, and his guidance gave me confidence throughout the healing process. I’m incredibly grateful for his support and expertise.

Best physiotherapy for sports injuries in Toronto!!! Chris has worked with many athletic teams; he also follows latest breakthroughs in treating injuries. I had an ACL injury with meniscus damage while skiing, he worked together with best physiotherapist in Australia to get the best possible results of healing without surgery. He is a level above physiotherapists, super knowledgeable and follows through. He knows surgery recommendations if you need, he will read your mri results, and will put you back together again. You can trust you will get the best program. The gym is appropriate and clean. He records demo exercises so you can do proper form when exercising at home. If you are willing to put in the work he is the best! I have recommended him to my ski instructor friend as well, making sure she is ready for the slopes. Highly recommend!

Chris was my Physiotherapist when I went to FITT in Downsview Parc. He was helpful and effective to eliminate almost all knee pain via specific exercises to strengthen the muscles around my knee joint. He also gave me exercises for my glutes and hamstrings. Chris would first demo the exercises for me, including talking me through the various steps as he demoed them. Chris encouraged me to use my mobile device so that I would have a permanent record that I could refer back to when it came to do the exercises myself at home. Chris would also watch me do the exercise, and patiently correct me whenever my posture was not quite right. Eventually Chris moved to open his own clinic near Pape and Danforth. BUT, Chris was in demand at FITT, so he returned one more time to this location to see me and a few others. I did visit Chris one more time this past summer (at his new location, more than one hour away for me) with a long laundry list of issues to look at. Prior to my visit I composed a long email of what was ailing me as well as a fairly detailed "diary" of various symptoms on different days. I wasn't sure if he would read it, but Chris did read it all and addressed it during my 60 minute appointment with him. I recommend Chris as a good and effective Physiotherapist.

I can’t say enough good things about Invictus Physiotherapy and Chris. He’s helped me rehab and fully recover from multiple injuries over the years — hamstring strains, ankle issues, and wrist injuries — all from playing basketball. I had a long history of pulling my hamstrings for 8–10 years, and after just a couple of months of focused rehab with Chris, plus sticking to the maintenance exercises he gave me, I haven’t pulled my hamstring since. Chris is extremely knowledgeable, but what really sets him apart is how friendly, relatable, and personable he is. He takes the time to explain why you’re doing certain exercises and genuinely cares about long-term results, not just quick fixes. I’ll always come back to Invictus for any future injuries (hopefully I never get injured again 😅), and I highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for a physio who actually gets results.

I am incredibly impressed with Christen Chan. He is a practitioner who listens intently, asks thoughtful questions, and shows genuine compassion for his patients. I have worked with him on several different issues, and his combination of targeted massage work and tailored exercises has consistently led to a speedy recovery. I highly recommend Christen to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring physiotherapist.
