“I suffered from severe right hip bursitis, along with sciatica, also in the same right leg. The sciatica pain caused months of broken sleep as it worsened when laying down. Combined with the bursitis, it was constant chronic pain. My physiotherapist, Urvashi, put together a treatment and exercise plan which when followed faithfully, slowly began to provide pain relief. The sciatica proved stubborn, but after x rays, ultrasound, and finally a MRI, a disc bulge was discovered, and treatment was modified to eliminate certain exercises which could increase pain and inflammation. Because I'm on blood thinners, I can't take antiinflammatory medication, so put my trust in Urvashi and her excellent team to get me on the road to recovery. My treatment began with two, sometimes three sessions a week, and I'm happy to say that after months of treatment, I'm now doing one appointment every two weeks. My quality of life is certainly improving, and i credit that to Urvashi's excellent knowledge and understanding of my conditions, along with her treatment and exercise plan. Urvashi remained positive, professional, and compassionate throughout my painful journey, qualities that continued to give me hope. Beth, my massage therapist, consistently provides outstanding treatments—she’s attentive, professional, and always ensures I leave feeling my best. I’ve also been working with Shruti, my physiotherapist, and her expertise and dedication have made a significant difference in my recovery and overall well-being. Overall, every experience I’ve had at this clinic has been nothing short of amazing. I truly have no complaints—only gratitude for the high level of care and support I’ve received. “My experience at Integrate Physio has been very good - from the start after being referred from Ajax-Pickering hospital (for physio after my shoulder fracture/dislocation in September) until now, 4 months later. I came in quite nervous and worried, but the physios were all compassionate and slowly/patiently worked with me to get my shoulder/arm functional again. Also, very flexible with rearranging appointments to accommodate my haphazard schedule on short notice. “I would recommend Integrate Physiotherapy to anyone needing service and or help with painful knees. I began physio for painful left knee, not being able to kneel ( falling over to the right side) due to the magnitude of pain being felt.
