“I recently visited Inspired Eyes and had a genuinely excellent experience. From the moment I walked in, the clinic felt professional, organized and welcoming. This was my first time getting prescription glasses, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Natalie at reception was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and she really took the time to help me narrow down what I liked by comparing multiple different frame options. She made the whole process feel easy and stress free, which I really appreciated. Sean (the optometrist) was thorough, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the appointment. The entire team was accommodating and attentive, and the clinic itself is spotless and well-run. I left feeling confident in my prescription and genuinely happy with the experience. I found this place on happenstance through a review left on a different optometrist centre in Kelowna that recommend this one instead and I’m so glad I saw it. “We had an eye emergency with our 8-year-old daughter and our regular optometrist was unable to see us. This clinic was able to fit her in the same evening after school, and then again throughout the week. I can’t say enough good things about the experience, especially given the circumstances. Both Dr. Walker and Dr. Laycock were beyond accommodating, caring, and kind. My daughter usually does not prefer male doctors, but they made her feel so comfortable right away. The clinic itself is also trendy, modern, and welcoming. I would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone, and I’m now hoping to move our entire family here. “I cannot say enough good things about this place. I was referred here about 6 years ago after I was prescribed glasses for the first time after seeing Dr. Walker for vision therapy. They have the funkiest high end eyewear. I have purchased a few pairs of glasses and prescription sunglasses from here and get so many compliments all the time. The owner and staff here really care about you as a customer and treat you with so much respect and kindness. “I discovered Inspired Eyes through my insurance provider’s app while searching for an optometrist that offers direct billing. When I visited their website, I noticed the doctor looked quite young, which made me curious about his experience. Still, something about the team’s welcoming faces encouraged me to give it a try. I’ve worn glasses since I was 14—now I’m 62—and I’ve visited many optometrists over the years. I expected a typical visit, but what I experienced was truly exceptional. The technician who first saw me used state-of-the-art equipment and kindly explained each step of the process, making sure I was comfortable. The eye exam with Dr. Walker was the most thorough and informative I’ve ever had. He was patient, professional, and made me feel genuinely cared for. While waiting for my eyes to dilate, I met with the optician, who took time to understand my specific needs—how I use my glasses, my work setup, monitor distances, and more. Despite my limited budget, she never rushed me or pressured me into buying something I couldn’t afford. She offered many options until we found the right fit. Dr. Walker later checked my eye pressure and explained the results clearly, even offering tips to protect my eyes. Another optician then helped me finalize my lens selection based on my budget and insurance coverage. Though I only purchased lenses this time, I was impressed they welcomed customers bringing their own frames—unlike some places that discourage it or give disclaimers about potential damage. I was able to choose the right lenses for my needs today. I truly wish I had purchased a full pair of glasses here because they have such a beautiful collection. Have you ever received an email from your doctor summarizing your visit and offering personalized lifestyle recommendations for your eye health—just 10 minutes after leaving the clinic? I did. I even saw him with another patient right after me. Wow! To sum up: from their cutting-edge technology to their knowledge, kindness, and outstanding service, Inspired Eyes exceeded all expectations. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend them. Thanks to all the staff! P.S after a week Today I received my new glasses designed specifically for computer use. I had been wearing progressive lenses, which made it quite uncomfortable to read from monitors. These new glasses include a blue light filter. When I first put them on, it felt like I had undergone eye surgery—everything appeared much brighter and clearer! I’m very satisfied with my new glasses. “Rave! Only good things to say about the entire team at Inspired Eyes. Lana, the owner, is a beautiful soul. She has so much charisma, with impeccable taste in selecting frames. Dr Danny Walker was exceptionally kid-friendly, and my daughter loved him. We had such a great experience, that I took in my Aunt to see him, too. Dr Walker was very thorough, and sent an email with everything she needed to do to better care for her eyes. Afterwards, the staff helped my Aunt get her first new pair of glasses in 12 years. She went from not being able to see, to remarking on the world around her! Perfect prescription. Lovely frames & lenses. A excellent follow up plan for optimal eye health was set up for her. We will be bringing the whole family to Inspired Eyes for eye appointments, and glasses! We are so impressed. I almost happy cried when my Aunt ecstatically said “Wow! “Lana and her team at "Inspired Eyes" is always great to work with. I have been getting my glasses there for 6 years and it has always been a quick painless experience. The service is fast and excellent. Lana knows her inventory well, and knows what will look good on your face. She has the perfect blend of recommending you to try something a little edgy while making sure you will feel confident and comfortable wearing them.
