“First I was just grateful and relieved to be able to get same day treatment for a very severely strained back... “I have visited many clinics re my back knee pain. I had issues for many months but no one was able to help. Once PT Jeff Begg examined me he come up with diagnosis and treatment plan. Prior to seeing Jeff I was not negotiating stairs with difficulty. Following the first treatment with Jeff I was able to negotiate stairs. My pain is getting better. “i) review about my experience I had a very disappointing experience with physiotherapist Sharanjeet Sharma during my 4:45 PM appointment today. Serious privacy concern: She disclosed my personal information — including that I am seeing a psychologist and that I booked with another physiotherapist — to her assistant without my permission, and this happened in front of other patients. This is a major breach of confidentiality. Lack of basic patient care: After treatment, I was told to leave directly by the assistant. Sharanjeet Sharma did not check on me, ask whether I felt better, or assess my condition before ending the session. This experience made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I hope the clinic will take this seriously and improve their professional standards. ii) Reply to the message from the clinic below Thank you for your response. However, I am not satisfied with the results of your internal investigation. During my appointment, there was another female patient in the next curtained bed. A curtain does not provide adequate privacy. Sharanjeet Sharma proactively disclosed my personal information to the assistant — including the fact that I am seeing a psychologist and that I booked an appointment with another physiotherapist. I did not initiate or voluntarily offer any of this information. I did not acknowledge it and acted as if I didn’t know. But, she also mentioned the specific appointment time I had booked, which shocked me. In that moment, I could only reply that I remembered the therapist was male. Both the assistant and the female patient nearby were present and could hear the conversation. This was a clear breach of confidentiality. Additionally, I did not agree to leave without a post-treatment check. The therapist did not ask whether I felt better or assess my condition before ending the session. This does not meet the standard of patient-centered care. Since I remain concerned about the privacy breach and the quality of care provided, I will be submitting a formal complaint to:Alberta College of Physiotherapists, and Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (OIPC) for an independent investigation.Thank you.”Read moreShow less

“The team here is wonderful! This is my first experience with physio and I chose Sharon as my physiotherapist. She helped me with some really painful neck issue I was having and it went away within two sessions. The rest of the team are welcoming and very kind. “They are great. I took my mom for her knee pain. It was super experience they are very attention to detail. My mom felt very good after every session. Physio therapist Jay was absolutely amazing to dealt with. He diagonis her and explained each and every step of physio my mom has to go through very knowledgeable and kind.
