After years of ongoing back pain and seeing multiple “specialists” with no real answers or results I had accepted that I’d just have to live with it. Dr. Westaway completely changed that. He was exceptional in diagnosing the root of the issue, and what really stood out was how much time and attention he gave me. He made me feel like I was his only patient that day (hard to find no a days), never rushed, always listening, and genuinely invested in helping. “After ten years of chronic hip pain with painfully slow progress, I was finally referred to Dr. Michael Westaway, and it changed everything. Despite never having my hips imaged in all that time, previous providers only acknowledged physical symptoms, leaving me feeling stuck and desperate. Dr. Westaway’s professionalism, genuine personal care, and wit made for the best physical exam I’ve ever experienced. Not only did he understand the severity of my condition, but he explained what was truly going on in language I could understand. What really set him apart was his advocacy. He went above and beyond to fast track me into a hip and joint surgery clinic. That appointment gave me what I’d been missing for a decade: a roadmap forward. I finally got imaging done, learned I’m not bone-on-bone yet, and received guidance on treatment options (including medication I’d been hesitant about when I was first diagnosed). While I still don’t have a complete diagnosis, the working theory of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis with related complications, combined with this new roadmap made only possible by Dr. Westaway: gives me hope for my future. Dr. Westaway is a class act and a brilliant physiotherapist. His quick action and thorough assessment got me unstuck after a long stretch of going nowhere. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.”

“Dr. Westaway is the absolute best physiotherapist I’ve ever seen in my 30+ years. He’s extremely thorough, very empathetic & has a great sense of humor which helps me relax. He identified my issues before even seeing my MRI results so he knows what he’s doing. He offers a variety of solutions & will refer you for further testing if needed & also contacts your family doctor with recommendations. It’s so refreshing having someone take all the burden off of you for follow ups, etc.. I highly recommend him! Front end staff is also very helpful & friendly which rounds out my great experience at Infini. Thank you so much for all your help, I’m looking forward to next visit already.”

“I saw Dr. Westaway recently at Infini health in Calgary and it was a great experience. The front desk staff were very welcoming and organized, which made the check-in and paperwork process go very smoothly. Dr. Westaway was incredibly personable, knowledgeable and VERY thorough. You can tell he genuinely wants to improve the health of his patients, as he went out of his way to have a detailed discussion of my health history and provided a clear action plan to resolve, which included arranging imaging exams, consultations with other medical specialists, a letter to my primary family physician, as well as a recommended treatment plan which included multiple approaches. Dr. Westaway is one of the best physio/muskoskeletal specialists I have ever met, trained in multiple disciplines. He also communicates in a way that allows you to understand what’s happening, and provided ample time to ask questions as well. I left feeling like my health was in good hands. Can’t recommend him and this clinic enough.”
