“I will never recommend this dental office to anyone. My history with them involves a pattern of gross negligence and completely disregarded patient safety. First, I had my wisdom teeth removed one by one under local anesthetic. My permanent record explicitly states that I require more freezing than the average patient, at a deeper depth. The technician completely ignored this, failed to wait for the area to freeze, and did not give me sufficient freezing needles. When she attempted to pull the tooth while I could fully feel it, I had to physically move her away to stop the pain and protect myself as she did not care to listen to me. Second, during a routine checkup, the technicians completely fumbled the removal of my dental dam. They dropped the sharp metal tooth clamp directly down my throat and I swallowed it. This resulted in an emergency trip to a walk-in clinic, a radiation X-ray (attached to this review), and the painful, dangerous process of passing a sharp metal ring naturally through my digestive system. On top of these major incidents, their yearly cleaning technician was notorious for aggressively scraping, scabbing, and scarring my gums. Since switching to a different dental office, I have never experienced a single one of these discomforts. If you value your safety and basic patient consent, go somewhere else. This x-ray image is not fake or from the Internet when I go to a brand new dentist office anywhere in Canada I can ask them to pull up this exact x-ray photo as it’s stored in my permanent dental records.”

“My experience at Idyll Dental was excellent. I have some health issues that cause stress during visits to a dentist. The dentist was patient with my concerns, and made every effort to accommodate me and make me more comfortable. I was thrilled with the results of the work done. I would highly recommend Dr Karen to anyone and especially anyone who experiences stress during dental procedures. I was able to get in a little early and had my concerns addressed right away. There were several teeth that needed attention that I didn’t know about. Dr Randawha took care of them in the same appointment, which I appreciated very much. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I would certainly recommend Idyll Dental to everyone.”

“I had my first visit to Idyll Dental , and from start to finish their team was incredible. The warm welcome at the reception set the tone and the dentist and technician were genuinely caring, patient and relatable. My tooth was on the verge of collapse, and I was hesitant about removing it but the dentist thorough and thoughtful assessment reassured me and she convinced me not to leave without taking care of it. I was worried about the aftermath, but the post-treatment care was excellent and I barely had any issues at all. It’s refreshing to find a dentist where you are not just a number but who truly provides one-on-one personalized care.”

“The staff are accommodating and will do the necessary steps starting with x ray, assessment. It was my first time to be assisted that way that all of my teeth are being checked thoroughly. I was amazed how good they are and how light their arms are when they do my teeth cleaning. They are highly recommended”
