“Huge shoutout to my sports scientist LEO IABONI !!! I’ve told all my friends about him, but it wouldn’t feel right not to leave a review because, honestly, Leo has changed my life. I joined the sports science rehab program because my body always felt off balance. My lifts, jumps, and runs never felt quite right, even though they appeared solid from an outside perspective. My goal was to feel more aligned, play sports without worry, and eventually run a half marathon before turning 30. In terms of balance, the quantitative tests we did at the beginning and end of the program speak for themselves, showing clear, measurable improvement. But ultimately, those are just numbers. From my own experience, I can confidently say that every single workout I used to do before the program feels completely different now. Not only did Leo teach me the correct way to perform certain exercises, but all the different movements and progressions we did throughout the program have activated my mind-muscle connection to levels I never imagined. The way I walk, run, squat, deadlift, and even the way I move day to day, has completely changed thanks to this program. In terms of the half marathon, I was able to complete it before the program even finished, and I know that was only possible because of all the work we did to balance and strengthen my body. Before starting, I was always afraid that running longer distances would lead to injury because of my imbalances. But during my half marathon, I felt balanced, stable, and strong. When it comes to sports, I haven’t been playing as much lately due to a busy schedule, but I’m confident that whatever I take up next, my body will move and perform effectively. I can’t wait to see what else I can achieve moving forward. Before joining the program, I honestly thought my body was just built differently and that my imbalances were something I’d just have to live with. But after completing a 25-week program with Leo, my body moves in ways I never thought possible, and I’m excited to see what more is possible!”Read moreShow less

“The Postnatal Clinical Pilates Class has been an incredibly valuable part of my recovery and wellbeing journey after having my second baby. One of the biggest highlights is that you can bring your baby with you, which removes so much of the logistical stress new moms often face when trying to prioritize their own health. The environment is calm and baby-friendly, and it’s comforting to be surrounded by other women going through similar experiences. The class itself is gentle but effective and Meghan, the Physiotherapist instructing the class, is knowledgeable and encouraging, always making sure everyone feels comfortable and supported at their own pace. “I started seeing Meghan Blanchard for pelvic floor physiotherapy about six weeks after my son was born. She successfully guided my return to running in the postpartum period with knowledge, compassion, and genuine kindness. She also invited me into her postnatal reformer Pilates class, which provided a much-needed sense of community (while building strength!) for me and my baby. “Thank you to the front end staff and Minh (my physiotherapist) for a frictionless user experience dream come true. My consultation last week was immaculate. I was courteously greeted when I arrived and my wait was just the right length. Minh, my physiotherapist, was perfectly professional and completely devoted to me for my consultation. He was very helpful in helping me to select the right cross fit band for my pull up exercises. “HW has been so valuable in this last season and every additional practitioner I see has made the experience even better. I started at HW for RMT with Carissa, she is so incredibly knowledgeable that I learn new things about my body and muscle groups at every appointment. We typically work on targeted areas and she gives a very functional massage and I leave every appointment with exercises to continue stretching and gaining further function/mobility. Best RMT I’ve been to and I almost don’t want to share this so I can keep her availability to myself. 😜 Additionally I started going to Pelvic Floor Physio when looking ahead to family planning, I’m now postpartum and it was genuinely so helpful in the pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and now postpartum journey. I’ve been seeing Meghan and highly recommend! I can vividly remember in labour being aware of some of our stretches and techniques to make the process smoother and be more in control of my body. I was not able to get a midwife for my birth, so going through stretches, practicing birthing positions, etc. was so valuable for me in the process — and I even had my husband come to an appointment for some of that prep to be on the same page going into birth.
