“Dr. Mitchell Toffan was phenomenal! The level of care he provided was exceptional. I first came to see him after a friend recommended that I consult him about an ongoing foot issue. For almost a year, I had been struggling with foot pain, tightness, and numbness that many friends and colleagues brushed off as simply plantar fasciitis. Despite what others were saying, I truly felt that wasn’t the issue. The pain had started to drastically affect my life to the point where I had to significantly reduce exercise, walking, and overall movement. From my very first appointment, Mitch took the time to genuinely listen to my concerns and carefully consider what I was experiencing. He explained that he believed tight muscles in my foot were affecting the nerve running into it. After only a couple of sessions, I was able to return to my favorite exercises and wake up each day able to walk around pain-free. It was amazing. I am incredibly grateful for the help he provided. I now continue to go back for regular sessions to prevent further tightness, and I could not be happier that I decided to see him. Wonderful experience!”

“I have been very pleased with my treatments by Dr. T. Comeau. On April 22nd, I had nitrogen treatment on possible pre-cancerous spots on my right elbow and left leg. I also had cortisone shots on my left knee. I would suggest that, in future, the staff put bandages and sterile pads over a wound made by nitrogen. The wounds on my elbow were 2 painful hard lumps which burst in the night, and spread blood throughout the bedding. This comment was made by Sandra Clark Lindholm”

“Dr Mitch at Horizon Joint and Wellness often skips the theatrics of popping and cracking and instead works on my soft tissue and mobility. He does things differently than the MANY other practitioners I have seen over the years, and that's a good thing. You can tell they truly care here. I have noticed a huge improvement in managing my long term chronic pain, and only wish I had found him sooner. Highly recommend!”

“I had my first ever acupuncture with Dr. Toffan today. He took a very detailed history of every little ache and pain, then explained his process to me. I sometimes find providers shy away from all the questions about what they're doing, while they're doing it. He answered all of my "what are you doing now?" "What should it feel like?" "Where are you putting the needles?" with patience and answers that I understood. I felt pain relief in all of the areas he treated- very noticeable as soon as got in my car after my appointment. I am looking forward to seeing how I feel over the next week before my next appointment. I know that pain is very complex and isn't an easy fix, but I feel optimistic about my treatment. Thanks! 😊”
