“Holland Bloorview will say whatever necessary to string along the parents of little girls who need Autism assessments. It's Autism Awareness Month and my kiddo has been waiting for a proper assessment since before COVID. She's lacking necessary supports including SLP and OT, because she doesn't need ABA. Don't rely on them to help Autistic kids, HBKids threw them under the bus years ago.”Read moreShow less

“A man named Alvaro Alas was commenting on Facebook that he does not believe the virus is real.. thinks its a hoax put on by the government and says he will refuse to get the vaccine. He ALSO was talking about being a volunteer at this hospital rehab center. I think if this hospital is SERIOUS about protecting patients and their families it, the hospital administration, needs to have a chat with Mr. Alas to ensure he WILL get vaccinated and stop his disregarding of covid protocol. As a parent who has spent time in hospital with very ill children I would be very upset to find out that a volunteer was putting my childrens health at risk because of his opinion that Covid was a joke.”Read moreShow less

“In 2019 my son and I live at Holland Bloorview for 3 months of rehabilitation. We were very nervous about how things would go and how we would survive 3 months away from the rest of our family. Well I have to say we were blown away by Holland Bloorview, they are like no other hospital or therapy centre! The Staff are friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to make sure these children receive the much needed care in order to improve and continue to succeed. Holland Bloorview provides a variety of services and equipment (much more than I could ever imagine). They help build independence, confidence well ensuring the kids are having fun! There are always programs, activities and events to keep these kids engaged and smiling! This hospital has had such an impact on our lives and we will be forever greatful for this experience.
