“Beware of this place. This so-called wellness group has caused my sister significant stress, which ultimately worsened her health. I would not normally write a review like this, but after everything that has happened, I feel people deserve to be aware. This business presents itself as a place of healing, recovery, and nurturing care. Unfortunately, that was not our experience at all. My sister had to miss an appointment due to a confirmed, contagious case of strep throat, accompanied by fever and nausea. She has been off work because of her illness. During this time, while she was trying to recover, she received an excessive number of emails, texts, and calls. The pressure placed on her while she was clearly unwell was unacceptable and added unnecessary stress to an already serious health situation. They have also claimed they attempted to reach her without response, which is simply not accurate. To make matters worse, $203.40 was charged to her card without proper authorization while she was sick and unable to manage her affairs. When someone is ill, they may need their funds for medication, food, and medical care. Compassion and understanding should come first in a healthcare related setting. A wellness or holistic medical group should prioritize patient care and recovery. Instead, there was a lack of empathy and professionalism. Please read the lower-rated reviews many describe similar experiences. This matter has been reported appropriately, including to hospital staff and through formal complaint channels. There are laws in Ontario for a reason, and no one should be treated this way while they are ill. No one deserves to feel pressured, dismissed, or financially burdened when they are trying to recover Feb 26, still no email confirmation from company stating that they removed my sister from data base and that card won't be used without authorization. Please note that my sister did not fill any intake work or signed anything that said she authorized payment.”

“Owner Ana Vera– Holistic Med Group / Terrible Esperance Spa This was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical wellness clinic. I had to miss an appointment due to a confirmed case of strep throat. I informed the clinic immediately that I was contagious and on prescribed medication. At no time did I refuse to reschedule. My intention was simply to recover fully before rebooking so I would not expose staff or other patients. Despite explaining this multiple times, I was told I needed to rebook immediately or my card would be charged in full. From February 12 onward, I received repeated calls, texts, and emails including direct messages from the owner, Ana even after clearly communicating that I was very ill. The continued contact while I was sick and medicated caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult time. I was told in writing that my fees would be waived. However, I continued receiving collection style messages. I also specifically requested to be notified before any charge was processed, yet the full amount was charged without notice. To be clear: I am not requesting a refund. My concern is not about payment it is about the way this situation was handled. $203.40 cents was charged to my card. The repeated pressure felt aggressive and unprofessional, especially given that this was a medically confirmed contagious illness. As of February 21, I am still sick and dealing with the stress this situation caused. I strongly recommend that anyone booking here carefully review the cancellation policies and ensure they are comfortable with how illness-related cancellations are treated. I do not recommend this business not because of service quality, but because of the lack of professionalism, and compassion shown during a time of illness. As a result of this experience, I have terminated all services. Feb 21 response back to Ana: Ana, Please do not accuse me of being dishonest. I woke up with a sore throat, fever, and headache something no one can predict. I communicated that clearly and provided updates. I will not argue back and forth. The written proof speaks for itself. I have emails and screenshots showing I was responsive and transparent. The only person who did not respond directly was you. It is disappointing to see a business attempt to justify poor treatment, especially when there is documented evidence. Accountability matters. I am not seeking compensation. I simply want people to understand how this was handled. Once I was no longer contagious, I fully intended to rebook. However, the way I was treated made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe.”

“Dana is an exceptional RMT. She is warm, attentive, and highly knowledgeable. This was not the standard type of massage she incorporated guided arm and neck movements that made a noticeable difference. I’ve struggled to find a therapist who provides lasting relief, but Dana gave me instant release of tension in my upper body and neck. It has been a very long time since I’ve left a massage feeling this satisfied. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for both skill and genuine care in their treatment. Looking forward to my next appointments with Dana.”
