“My cleaning appointment with Happy Smile Dental was great. It was really convenient to have my hygienist right in campus and they were so gentle and efficient. Additionally they were incredibly helpful to with navigating my insurance. “I had two long overdue cleanings from the langara mobile location. The first session was entirely covered by ubc student insurance and the second one which was partially covered. I had great recommendations without pushiness, as the dentist gave me the option of going for the bare minimum to ensure low cost or getting more thorough cleanings. The dentist was knowledgable and respectful, even though I hadn’t been to the dentist in years there was no judgment which is really important to me. “Soleil not only cleaned my teeth pretty quickly, she also gave me advice on how to floss behind my wisdom teeth, gave me an x-ray, explained to me how my gum recedes if bacteria builds up, and made sure I was comfortable. I could tell the difference feeling wise and visually! I think she missed a really small spot on one of my tooth but that's because she was rushed and I haven't gone to the dentist for about 2.5 years and she got it done really quickly without making me have to book another appointment.
