“I’ve been going to the Health Within Clinic for years and have received care from the majority of their staff for different issues. I enjoy the clinics efficiency and their ability to treat me and send me off with homework. For my personal treatment plan, a lot of the healing is done on my own terms. I like checking in with the team on a monthly basis to review my progress. If theres a new concern with my health, they’re super receptive to my needs and take the time to hear me out and talk through treatment plans. Super happy with the clinic. “I was referred to Shawn Fontaine at Health Within after my hip replacement for much needed Physiotherapy. Upon entering the building I was greeted by the receptionist very warmly. I did not know what to expect but as soon as Shawn came out he was very friendly and professional. He showed great patience with my recovery and did not push me any faster than what I was comfortable with. He gave me exercises to do at home in between visits which was great to keep me on track for a speedy recovery. They have a very modern practice with all the latest technology . “Went in for a back injury that I got while playing baseball. The injury put me out for 2 games before I decided to seek help. Got booked in with Shawn Fontaine. He provided me with a detailed objective analysis of my injury and provided me with education on the injury and daily exercises to do at home. During the session he also helped elevate the pressure that my back was under by releasing a muscle that was really tight from the injury. The manual therapy gave me an instant improvement in my flexibility, which was maintained by me doing my daily exercises that were prescribed by him. I was back to playing baseball the following week. Highly recommend Shawn and the team at Health Within. The service provided was friendly and punctual, and the treatment was top quality.
