“I highly recommend Healing Elements and Dr Jarrod’s acupuncture services! The clinic is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle, it’s ambience is of peacefulness and tranquility. “I was nervous about acupuncture as I have a phobia of needles, and Dr McCollum was wonderful in explaining everything to me and helping with any anxiety I had about the whole experience. After my very first treatment I felt way more calm and easy going as well as the pain that initially brought me in was gone the next day. I've since had 4 treatments and it's wonderful! “I admired this beautiful building so often as I drove by, but when I discovered it was an acupuncture treatment centre, I was so grateful. As a recovering cancer patient, I needed support to manage the many side effects of surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. The team helped me to feel comfortable and safe. Dr. McCollum took time to really listen and understand where healing was required. The first visit provided near immediate relief from fiery nerves in my legs and feet, as well as painful adhesion in my irradiated upper arm. The last few visits have resulted in less pain, and much greater range of motion in my arm. I can also enjoy my long daily walks without a constant feeling of tingling pain in my feet and calves. “I was referred to this clinic by my chiropractor. Specifically to see Dr. Jared M. McCollum. At 36 weeks pregnant I had a completely breech baby. And I was looking to do everything that I could to avoid having an external cephalic version. Immediately upon entering the clinic I was greeted by very friendly staff. As someone who is newer to acupuncture I found Dr. Jared M. McCollum extremely knowledgable friendly patient and very kind. I love how he explained everything to me and made me understand how the meridians worked. All I can say is today at 37 1/2 weeks pregnant I found out that my baby has flipped and is now head down in a safe position to have a natural delivery. I truly believe it’s the acupuncture that made the biggest difference out of all the different things I was trying to get baby to flip. He moved around like crazy during both of my treatments. “I came across Healing Elements after a friend suggested I should check out some alternative healing practices. Jared and his team are very welcoming and friendly. Upon entering Jared's office I instantly felt at ease and enjoyed his collection of Buddha's. One of my favorite parts of the clinic is the soft chirping sounds of birds in his office and the music in the treatment rooms. Also, I love that Jared will answer any questions I may have in regards to why he's putting this needle there and what it does because I'm a curious person. I will definitely be a lifer to the clinic as long as he's willing to have his doors open. Thank you for everything you do in helping me in my healing process. “I first met Dr. Jared about 10 years ago when he was first starting his practice. At the time I was suffering from angina type pain from chronic stress and was preparing to go on a trip overseas and a family member told me about Dr. Jared so I went to him. I had a couple of treatments before my trip and was relieved when the troublesome pain I had been experiencing was gone. Fast forward 10 years, I had developed some autoimmune conditions as well as struggling with chronic lymes disease. One of my daughters heard about a contest Dr. Jared had to celebrate his 10 year anniversary so she made a video explaining why she thought I should win one of the packages he was offering. To my delight I was informed that I in fact, was one of the lucky recipients. I started my treatments last fall and with every treatment I noticed significant improvement in the level of pain and inflammation and a general improvement in my sense of well-being. In fact, I would sometimes joke with Dr. Jared that I often would feel so good after a treatment that I felt as if I could run back to Calgary on foot. After years of living in chronic pain this is like a miracle for me as I now experience more frequent and longer breaks from pain. “I have nothing good to say about Dr. Jared McCollum and Healing Elements. My experience with Dr. Jared has been so far beyond good, it has been simply AMAZING! I am not a free spirit when it comes to alternative medicine and two months ago I would have said that acupuncture was a bunch of hooey. But, I was at the end of the line with severe nerve pain and conventional medicine. The only hope offered by my medical doctor was stronger pain killers and nerve testing. Dr. Jared has been performing miracles with me for several months now and I am now able to walk without a cane and have eliminated narcotic pain medication from my life. I am awaiting spinal injection therapy and am still pursuing conventional medical treatment but I am convinced that acupuncture therapy WORKS and is the perfect medium for my condition.
