I’ve had such positive experiences at this clinic! The wonderful ladies at the front desk are always kind, caring and flexible. I have been seeing Dr Paradis for going on 2 years, and he has always taken a holistic approach to his care, making an effort to understand my overall health, and how best to support me to ensure treatment is comfortable and sustainable!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Pierre Paradis for a few years now. He’s always been great at tailoring treatments to what I need in different seasons, whether it’s frequent treatments to address an injury or infrequent appointments just to maintain good health. Susan & Irmgard at reception are guaranteed to greet you with enthusiasm and a smile! I really appreciate their excellent organization and flexibility to accommodate last minute changes to my appointments. I would highly recommend Hazeldean family chiropractic!

Dr Paradis helped me a lot. He fixed my tingly arm and my back feels better. The staff is fantastic and very welcoming. I would highly suggest to my family and friends.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend – A Refreshing, Thorough, and Gentle Approach!** If you are looking for a chiropractor who actually listens to you instead of just rushing you onto a table for a aggressive, full-body "crack-and-go" session, look no further. From my very first visit, it was clear that they genuinely care about understanding the root cause of your pain. They took the time to sit down, ask detailed questions, and *truly listen* to my concerns and comfort levels. I never felt rushed or dismissed. I was honestly a bit nervous about visiting a chiropractor because I’m not a fan of the intense, loud, "big crack" adjustments you see all over social media. Fortunately, their approach is completely different. They utilize gentle, precise, and highly effective techniques that achieved amazing results without any of the scary, forceful twisting or popping. It is incredibly rare to find a practitioner who balances expert knowledge with such a compassionate, tailored touch. If you want a healthcare partner who listens first and treats you with a gentle, personalized approach, I cannot recommend them enough!

I have been using the services of Hazeldean Family Chiropractic since 2021. The treatment I have received has greatly enhanced my quality of life and educated me on how spinal health impacts other dimensions of overall health. The staff is friendly and the treatment is effective. I would recommend the clinic to anyone considering chiropractic treatment.

(TL;DR/summary at the end) Treatment was ineffective and I saw no real progress. I've since seen a physiotherapist and received far more effective care for the same condition. They don't bill directly to insurance and I wasn't able to get reimbursed for a cervical traction device they sold to me as a part of my treatment plan because my insurance company requires a doctor's prescription, which they didn't or couldn't provide. In my first progress exam, I expected a comprehensive reassessment, but the chiropractor just looked at my shoulder/neck area for a few seconds and didn't provide much information on my progress, other than an "okay". This was billed as a progress exam even though it was neither comprehensive nor informative. In my adjustment visits, only a drop table was used, and there was no manual therapy, even though I've now learned that the standard approach for my condition includes both. There were also scare tactics thrown in at the start - "You've lost 96% of your neck curve". "Look at this guy who didn't start treatment early - he lost his ability to walk" (this one they send you in an introductory video after your consultation). The staff were usually nice, but unfortunately, that doesn't solve my problems. Here's a summary of the red flags I found: - Fear-based marketing (introductory video with stories about severe injury or consequences of not getting early treatment) - Presenting findings in exaggerated, non-standard terms ("96% loss in your neck curve") - No active rehabilitation for a condition that requires multimodal care - Zero progress in 2 months here. Switched to a physiotherapist and saw immense improvement almost immediately, and continued measurable progress over the following month. - Not billing insurance directly - minor concern, but inconvenient - Extra: Monthly payment system rather than paying on a per-visit basis

Last winter I took up the hobby of taking long walks outside. I am talking daily 10-20 km treks through rough terrain and snow. After a while of this, my Achilles tendon on one foot started to hurt. I brought this up while at my next adjustment just to see if Dr. McLaughlin knew any stretches that would facilitate healing, and she did, but also suggested giving cold laser treatments a try. I will be honest in this review: I was openly skeptical about the idea of a laser blasting into my foot making anything heal faster. I thought it was chiropractor voodoo. But, it was nearing the end of the year and there was room left on my benefits so I gave it a shot and booked 3 sessions in quick succession. The pain gradually lessened after each session and a few days later it was all gone. I am in my 40s and nothing heals that fast; not to mention I never stopped taking those long walks every day through the whole ordeal. After a few weeks I had the same problem come up on the other foot, and that one only took 2 laser sessions to stop hurting. I have to concede that the cold laser treatment did in fact work as advertised. Aside from all that, this is a well run chiropractor office. They are kind, efficient, and very knowledgeable on a wide range of topics. I have been going regularly for a little under 2 years and have never had a bad experience.

I am grateful for the super friendly team and service here! They have been so helpful to our family and accommodating with our busy schedule. Our 3 year old son has issues with ear infections and was having a perforated ear drum every month. Since seeing Dr Erin and having multiple adjustments, our son has not had a perforated ear drum or ear infection in 5 months! This is such a relief as we are on a one year wait list for surgery. Thankyou Dr Erin and team! :)

It’s my first time doing chiropractic care, at first I was not very optimistic, I had pain in my lower back and had a tech neck but after 6 months the results were speaking for them selves. Erin is amazing, she is very knowledgeable, we started a customized plan by doing 2 adjustments a week and then shifted to one adjustment weekly. I saw a spectacular improvement with my spine and neck and that was reflected on the X-rays report. The treatment plan was supplemented by various resources (training videos, exercises handouts and a denroll). Erin has excellent listening skills, she answers my questions and provides me with helpful advice when needed. I highly recommend her and the entire team.

I have been receiving weekly chiropractic adjustments at Hazeldean Family Chiropractic for over 10 years now. Shortly after I got my first adjustments, I was able to stop the medications I was taking for neck pain and even acid reflux! I continue to receive "maintenance" adjustments to counteract poor posture at times (couch sitting). Adjustments also help ensure my spine stays in optimal shape, which means overall good health by keeping my spinal cord from being pinched due to a misaligned spine. The team at Hazeldean is always welcoming, accommodating and helpful with any concerns I have. I have always been very pleased with my treatment.
