“Called to get a hold of the Costco location accidentally hit the wrong prompt to get to the Costco line. Instead of I forming my nicely I got " well obviously you didn't listen to the prompts" very poor customer service. Don't need a service worker who speaks to customers like that in any business glad I'm getting my script sent to me. Wont be receiving any of my business again.”Read moreShow less

“I took my parents to this clinic for their eye appointments. The optometrist was very professional and we really appreciated his help — he was polite and patient. However, the experience with the receptionist was disappointing. She was extremely rude and impatient. At one point, I misunderstood what she was asking, and when I repeated the wrong thing twice, she snapped at me with a visibly annoyed expression. There were several other moments when her attitude was unnecessarily harsh. I’ve never encountered such poor customer service at a clinic before. I actually had my own appointment scheduled for next week, but after this experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.”Read moreShow less

“Dr Brian Sklapsky was great to deal with, he was courteous and informative. The problem arose when paying the bill.I was informed there would be a $3.00 charge for using my Costco creditcard? When I questioned it, that it might be not to great for future business,the receptionist informed me that Hatchard Optometry was doing very well $ . I can see why by penalizing loyal Costco members . I called to ask a question regarding my daughter’s appointment yesterday and was told that I would have to book and pay for another appointment if I had a question regarding her prescription. “If you value your time, do not go here. I have been to 3 appointments in the last few months and not once have I been seen in a reasonable amount of time. Today, I waited in the hall for 45 minutes to be seen by dr hatchard and was finally seen by another doctor who took pity on me and stayed late so I wouldn’t have to wait any longer. I was then given so much more information than at my previous appointment. Almost to the point that I was questioning why I had even been in previously. (If you have no choice but to go here, Dr. Valdorson was wonderful). Then I was shocked by the $103 bill I was not informed of until I was leaving. How is it ok to not tell people you will charge them money before you charge them money?”Read moreShow less

“Hubby had seen Dr. Sklapsy the last eye appt so contacted their office today which is now apparently located on Yates Rd or he can be seen at Costco. Couldn’t get past the condescending attitude of the receptionist to rebook another appt. Hubby was listening on speaker and had the same take. She sounds like she was bothered with the call/questions and spoke down to you. No thanks, there are other welcoming places one can go. Obviously this person is in the wrong line of work.
