Very disappointed with my experience today, particularly with a staff member named Jodi. I received a call less than 30 minutes before my son’s pediatric follow-up appointment advising that it would be cancelled unless he could arrive earlier because the hospital had made a scheduling error. I explained that my son’s father was the one taking him to the appointment and asked that she contact him directly. Jodi responded dismissively and abruptly ended the call. Concerned by the interaction, I called back to obtain her information and ask for clarification. Jodi refused to provide her last name and informed me that the appointment would actually still be taking place at 10:40 a.m. This information had not been communicated to either parent. Had I not called back myself, we would not have known the appointment was still proceeding. When I asked to speak with her manager regarding the situation, I was told her manager was “on vacation” and was given someone else’s contact information instead. At no point was there an apology for the confusion and inconvenience caused by the hospital’s own scheduling mistake. The entire situation was handled poorly. The lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism was unacceptable, especially when it involves a child’s medical care. Families deserve respectful treatment and accurate communication, not confusion and dismissive attitudes.

Lovely and incredibly caring ER staff. They were so attentive and compassionate with my 2 year old, making sure his first emergency room experience was as positive and non-traumatic as possible. The team acted quickly and professionally to keep him safe and comfortable, while also keeping us informed every step of the way. We felt supported both medically and emotionally throughout our stay. Grateful for them!

I went to the hospital very early in the morning because of a shoulder injury, and I want to thank Dr. (Jessica )and nurse (Nishita )for their kindness and wonderful care. They were both very caring, professional, and made me feel comfortable during a difficult time. I truly appreciate their help and support. Thank you so much!

Terrible experience, very long wait times. Nurses are rude and dismissive. They can’t handle stress, literally 10 nurses went outside to wheel 1 guy from his car. Waste of resources here. Also, no water fountains anywhere and their vending machine is broken, no idea how they expect people to wait hours without drinking water. Edit: after waiting 4 hours, I was frustrated and asked a nurse why it’s taking so long, she asked how long I’ve been waiting and I told her it’s been 4 hours. She sarcastically said that’s it? Expect 8-12hour wait time. I ended up leaving, went to credit valley hospital in Mississauga. We saw a doctor there in less than 1 hour, got the shot my wife needed within 2.5 hours. Insane difference. Avoid this hospital for your own mental health.

All the staff at the surgical ward are amazing! The nurses have such a positive and pleasant demeanour, their attention to detail is impeccable and the care they provide is second to none. Didn’t have 1 issue while my father was a patient here for over 2 weeks. Not one complaint or unpleasant experience to note. Given the circumstances of my father’s stay, they always kept his spirits up and helped him with prompt responses to his call bell, never waited longer than 2-5 minutes for them to respond. Grateful for the care they’ve been providing. A huge thank you to all of them!

More than 4 hours and still waiting for a simple X-ray for my child. When I finally asked for an update, the nursing staff's response was a dismissive 'I have no idea.' While I understand hospitals can be busy, the lack of transparency and basic information was unacceptable. Parents should be prepared for a long wait with zero updates on timing.

Two weeks ago I had surgery at this hospital. Everything went perfectly. The staff was very polite and did their best to help me both before and after the operation. I felt very comfortable and calm the entire time. Thank you so much to all the staff and doctors, and especially to the nurses — in particular Cassandra. I truly appreciate everything you did. 10/10.

Waited over 8 hours in the ER to see a doctor. Last week I went to this hospital for the first time after losing a large amount of weight quickly due to intense nausea/vomiting for 2 months straight. I was dehydrated, sick, and weak. There was barely anyone there that day, half of the waiting room chairs were empty. I was triaged quickly, administered quickly, gave blood quickly, and then was completely ignored for hours on end left throwing up into any dirty garbage can I could find. (The only working bathroom I was using to be sick in had water and paper towels all over the floor and an overflowing garbage the entire time I was there). When they gave me a room in the ER I was left there for multiple hours without anyone checking on me, while the nurses all gathered at their station talking about condos and townhouses and looking at Realtor.ca. When asked why I was waiting for so long they said there was on my 1 doctor working in the ER that day. My husband came to meet me and finally asked why nobody was checking on me and why I was throwing up into a dirty garbage can in the room alone, they handed him a couple bags to bring to me himself. When he stated how unhappy he was, they said he could contact client relations but they couldn’t do anything for him. Anyways, I got to see the doctor over 8 hours after arriving (the website said 2 hour wait). He told me I was pregnant and proceeded to write me a prescription for anti nausea medication which my pharmacist said is absolutely not safe during pregnancy. They gave me IV medication but again, left me alone so long that once the bag was empty, my blood started going in reverse and flowing back through the tubing. I pressed the call button for 15 minutes, nobody came. When I asked where they were they laughed and said that I was pressing the wrong button. I will NEVER return here.

1st time at this Hospital in ER . There will be wait for sure , but that's normal in Canada these days. But it's better than other hospitals in Brampton. Maximum wait time will be around 50min , but once registered, they do things in the best possible way. Staff is nice and helpful, and they assist in the best possible way they can. It's not like waiting 8 hours at others' hospitals. Some improvements are needed on cleaning. But overall it is a good experience .

It is worth the drive to come here. Staff are very friendly and professional even to each other; they all seem to have a great working relationship. The nurses and staff in Day Surgery were beyond phenomenal. I can't praise them enough! Grounds are well maintained and clean. Paid parking and there's even EV recharging. Hospital itself is small, all on one foor and clean. There's a Tim Horton coffee shop inside where are can get healthy wraps and bowls. Free guest wifi inside the hospital. I highly recommend this facility.
