“I remember Tara telling me she takes an hour-long lunch break, but I couldn’t recall what time she took her break. I called the store this morning and asked when I could drop by to pick up my glasses. Tara told me to drop by anytime during operating hours. I dropped by the store at 1 pm. The door was locked. A handwritten note said the store was closed and would reopen at 2 pm. I went home, called Tara later, and told her I had stopped by but that the store was closed. I knocked at the door with my keys, but no one responded. She lied to me and said she was on a 10- to 15-minute lunch break. I understand people need lunch breaks, but blatantly lying was unprofessional. Like me, if you are new to prescription glasses, watch out. Tara tried to sell me a lens I didn’t need. My prescription said office lenses, which are task-specific lenses. She tried to sell me progressive lenses, which are not what the prescription said. After sending the glasses twice for adjustments, Tara tried to sell me progressive lenses (my vision was blurry with the glasses). She couldn't make an office lens. Total waste of money and time.”

“Tara, the optician, is wonderful: knowledgeable, professional, warm, and she has a knack for matching frames to your face. I couldn't be happier with my new progressives, one transitional lenses and one designer sunglasses. The optometrist is also excellent, diagnosing how a previous one had given me a prescription that clashed with the needs of my work life. But Tara is one in a million!”
