“Note: (1star for stylist Dio's conduct)The place itself seemed alright before my first time going there, and a lady who finished my hairdo (Ashley) was excellent and respectful, but the stylist (Dio) who started my cut was somewhat knowledable but extremely rude and almost insulting, telling me i dont need to use hairsprays or do a hairdo to do work in a provincial park, and "who would i be doing it for", indicating that my hair for myself is not worth it. And i kept repeating that the front was a bit to long still and he kept saying he did not understand (when other customers and staff understood), before he pawned me off on his coworker (who was way nicer and understood perfectly and did the job well). He was insulting with and the way he said a few things and put me on the spot infront of other customers and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable and helpless, and the spit i was put in made me cry a bit. And then when i told the nice lady Ashley i was going to get my bag from my original chair and pay at the counter, Dio just grabbed my bag from the hook and passed it to me, without a word, without an apology or a good day or anything. I dont need to be treated like that, he should be coached on proper conduct or fired for treating visitors that way. Very unprofessional and intolerable behaviour from Dio 1/5 star. Cannot speak much to the overall operations of the salon, but with unprofessional conduct that way, they sure aren't encouraging ppl to come back.No one apologized for him on his behalf either. “I never used them. The woman there greeted me with such uninterest in serving me ...that I just left. I felt devalued, like I was not good enough to be in the hair studio. I do not feel very good writing a review like this, but even many days later I feel sad about how I was treated. People do not forget how you make them feel. “I had an appointment with Sheila this past Friday and let me tell you it was amazing! Everyone in this salon is so welcoming and friendly. I’d never stepped foot inside before my appointment and it felt like I had been coming for years. I got a cut and color and my hair looks amazing! Thank you ladies so much for making me feel welcomed and beautiful with my new hair! Me again! It’s been almost a year and I just went back to Sheila yesterday and she worked her magic and I walked out looking and feeling incredible. I listened to the things she told me at my last appointment, I didn’t dye my hair since the last time I came to see her, used less heat tools on my hair and I used the shampoo she recommended to me and BAM my hair was so much healthier. “I came across this salon by accident, but after looking at reviews, decided to book an appointment with Kelli. I showed her some pictures, one that was softer than I wanted, the others of Joan Jett's 1980s shullett. Kelli gave me some advice about how to find a happy medium between the two and make it better suited to what I was looking for. Ultimately, kelli gave me the best hairstyle I've had in years. Kelli listened to what I was looking for and asked me questions throughout the appointment to help her tailor my cut to match my vision. For the first time ever, I was so happy with the cut that I booked my next appointment before I left. I was so happy with my cut that I took kelli's advice and brought my 14 year old son into see Dio. Dio asked my son lots of questions to ensure he was giving him the cut that he was looking for. Not only did he do a great job on the cut, he connected with my son over hockey, making the appointment an absolute joy for my son to sit for. “I went here to get nano bead extensions by Sheila and then got face framing layers cut another day by Kelli and would recommend both stylists. My extensions and cut look great, I will be going back to get things touched up as soon as needed.”

“I went to this salon for the first time. My appointment that I booked was delayed, but no problem. Sheila was very nice and was very in toon to what I wanted in my cut and colour.. I’d love to return. But I felt like I was secondary, Someone that clearly was a last minute appointment, I was left waiting way too long to finish my appointment.
