“This is my first Google review, but I felt it was important to share my experience. The positives: Dr. Jennings is friendly and easygoing, and the receptionist was kind and helpful. The concerns: Unfortunately, the appointment itself was very frustrating. Dr. Jennings would ask questions and then quickly forget my responses. I came in with three concerns about my feet, so I was surprised when he wrote a prescription without examining them. At one point, he put on gloves but seemed to forget why, removed them, and began discussing unrelated topics. I had to remind him to check my feet. Throughout the visit, he would start tasks, lose track, leave the room, return, and ask again what needed to be done. After one of these instances, he left and told me the receptionist would assist me. When I approached her, she asked if I was ready to check out, but my feet had still not been examined. The receptionist eventually stepped in to help guide the process and had to repeat instructions several times. Even during the examination, Dr. Jennings appeared distracted and inconsistent. In the end, I was given a diagnosis and treatment plan that I do not feel confident in. I paid $135 and left without trust in the assessment or recommendations. I waited four months for this appointment and left feeling very disappointed.”

“If I can give a 0 I would. I left crying after my initial appointment with Dr. Jennings. I didn’t find this appointment helpful. My issue wasn’t resolved, and I didn’t receive much explanation or direction on next steps. I left feeling frustrated and still in pain. I was expecting a more thorough assessment and solution but that was not done. When I told the receptionist about what happened she asked me do I need to be a translator if I want to go bck inside? I spoke good English and understood the Doctor loud and clear there was no need for a translator. What a waste of time!!”

“I went to see Colette (Aloha) regarding my nail fungus. I went to her in the spring of 2025 with a five year old fungus condition that started from wearing my relative's previously worn shoes. Nothing I did would help to slow down the creeping deterioration of my nails, skin around my nails on my big toes themselves and eventually almost all the other toe nails and surrounding skin. I had called other laser clinics in Victoria, BC to see if they could attempt to treat my ongoing condition, but when they saw my pictures they said that it was too advanced for the laser procedure. I was getting hopeless and I work on my feet all day, and the fungus was become unbearably painful - especially the deep cracks in my skill surrounding my big toes - moisturizing made it worse. My doctor recommended Victoria Foot and Ankle Clinic and Colette, with her special smile and her positive outlook (like a sports coach who knows what you are going through) told me she could help and within three sessions ($240/session) my nail fungus was almost completely eradicated! Thanks Colette - I thought I was beyond all hope with this infection. You are a life saver!”

“I would not return. I felt the podiatrist didn't spend enough time discussing my problem and it seemed that he just accepted my self-diagnosis. Then he suggested orthotics that he could produce for $500, on top of the $100 fee. I've since gone to another podiatrist who spent more time looking at my problem and gave me a different diagnosis and a pair of $35 off-the-shelf orthotics that so far seem to be working fine. And his fee was less that $100!”

“Dr Jennings, is very knowledgeable, and extremely kind. He explained why he was suggesting the type of orthotic I required. It took a few months to get into to see him and that seems to be the norm now. It was well worth the wait. I gave 5 stars because I left the office, feeling genuinely cared for by him and his RN.”

“I'm quite convinced that there is no better Podiatrist than Dr. Jennings. He is so calm and reassuring, not to mention incredibly pleasant to be around. Even though I was going to a doctors appointment to have an operation done I didn't mind! The procedure was as painless as I think it could have been and the results so far have been impeccable. The receptionist is also LOVELY! If you need a podiatrist in Victoria, look no further.”
