“I am a relatively shy person when I meet new people, which usually does me a disservice when trying to put into words exactly what I’m looking for. Kate from day one has always been so informative, helpful, and so so kind. She is very knowledgeable on all things hair and scalp health, and always explains techniques and processes to me. Although I only see Kate, everyone at the Salon is so welcoming! Kate has done an amazing job creating an environment that’s supportive, inclusive, and fun! Oh and they have snacks!! “Kate has been doing my hair for years. I just cannot express how talented this woman is. Every time I have my hair appt she outdoes herself. When I think my hair cannot look any better I walk out with hair that I thought I would never have. She truly is a magician! Kate is so passionate, knowledgeable and a true artist in the industry. “CeCe has been my hair stylist for the past 2 years and I have never left an appointment disappointed. She knows what she is doing and will provide you will amazing hair tips for all hair types. Providing her inspo pictures or examples of what you’re wanting done has always been a huge benefit and she has always done exactly what I’ve asked for. Highly recommend seeing her if you’re wanting a transformation from brunette to blonde but she overall is an amazing hairstylist if looking to get cooler and darker tones as well. “I’ve been seeing Kate for a couple of years now after being referred to her by a friend, and I truly can’t recommend her and Grow Beauty Co. enough. When I first started seeing her, my hair was dry and damaged from years of improper care. Kate took the time to assess my hair health and work with me to create a plan to restore it. Her knowledge and education around hair health are what truly set her apart from other stylists. “I’ve had such a great experience here! All the stylists are incredibly skilled in all facets of hair. I personally go for my weft extensions and colour, and I’m happy with my results every time. I used to travel to Vancouver to get my hair coloured, but I finally found a place in Victoria! As a new mom, it’s been hard to make time for these types of appointments, so I really appreciate not only the quality of the service, but also how flexible and accommodating they’ve been. “Kate used to do my hair many years ago but we have (sadly!) not lived in the same city for years. This past summer, I let someone other than Kate cut & style my hair a couple weeks before my wedding. It was BOTCHED. I flew to Victoria and Kate fixed me right up & quite literally saved the day.
