“Shirley is a specialist. She is kind/caring, and gets you results during your appointment. I find her to be unique in this industry because she really genuinely cares in fixing your ailments and getting you better. You’re not just another patient. Truth be told, there have been times where I’ve scheduled an hour appt and been there for 2 hours because she just doesn’t give up until whatever the acute issue is that had me visit her is manageable by the time I leave. I’m a challenging case, having been to muscular skeletal specialists, physiotherapists, massage therapists, neurologists etc., even OTHER acupuncturists for a better part of a decade. Simply put, I have got the best tangible pain relief/results from Shirley in the shortest amount of time (i.e., right there at the appt) than from any other professional I’ve ever seen. I’ve been going to Shirley for years now, but less frequently as the years go on because my ailments have improved :). Today, I see her only when I’m suffering from an acute issue that has debilitated me (I.e., I’ve thrown out my neck or back and cannot move; or as in most cases I need relief from twisted muscles in my neck and scalp that have perpetuated a severe migraine that no amount of medication or visits to emergency can remedy). And she always fixes me, more precisely I always leave with reduced pain. I don’t know where I’d be without her unique set of skills and unfailing/consistent help.
