“I personally visited the Glassier Clinic after three years having an untreated knee injury. Mark was fantastic and very knowledgeable as to what the next steps to recovery were. Answered every question I could think of! I definitely recommend!”

“With only a few weeks left in my training to prepare for walking the Galicia portion of the Camino Frances in Spain, I felt pain in the back of both Achilles after one long road walk. I quickly learned about Achilles tendinitis and that I had it … it was too late to cancel my trip nor did I want to. I found my way to Glassier Physiotherapy and received a warm welcome from Aimee who not only fit me in on a more immediate cancellation, but she helped put me at ease. From the very start Mark provided an abundance of supportive ideas and mapped out a plan that would help me achieve my goal of walking the Camino. Mark and Marc both spent time with me teaching me stretching exercises, one of the most important steps in recovery. I continued doing these stretches every day throughout my Camino. Furthermore we did strength and stabilizing exercises to ready my feet and ankles for the variety of terrains I would face. While these physical therapies in no doubt helped set me up for success, it was the advice and support that I received that helped me find my confidence. Ideas that included training, building in certain types of training, use of poles, carrying less weight, hydration, and even nutrition ideas. A heartfelt thank you to all of you for your care, kindness, and support and thank you for seeing me that one last time to tape my feet before going to the airport! “The staff at the Glassier Physiotherapy clinic are very well trained and very attentive and patient with with their clients. They use the latest technologies and customize your treatment to you and your injury. They have and still are treating me weekly. “I've been coming to this clinic for the last few months for a shoulder injury, usually once a week, and I honestly can't say enough good things about the team. From day one, everyone has been welcoming, friendly, patient, and genuinely invested in helping me get better. Mark 1 and Mark 2 bring a wealth of knowledge and experience, and it's clear that they take the time to create treatment plans that are tailored to each individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Working with Mark 1 has completely changed how I look at recovery. I've learned that injuries are rarely isolated issues—everything is connected, and sometimes the source of the problem isn't where the pain is. He's helped me understand that healing takes time, progress isn't always linear, and that patience is just as important as the treatment itself. The saying "slow is fast, fast is slow" has become a lesson I hear often, and one I'm slowly learning to embrace. If you're looking for knowledgeable practitioners who genuinely care about their patients and their long-term success, I highly recommend this clinic. “I went to Glassier on the recommendation of a client of mine (I run a CrossFit Affiliate in Goderich) who had nothing but good things to say about Mark and crew. I went for my chronic knee pain. I had never been so fully evaluated and assessed as at Glassier before. Mark was so thorough and explained what was really the root cause of my knee pain. I am blown away by the depth of knowledge and experience of the team. While my knee will never be perfect based on the past injuries I’ve had I now have the confidence to move forward and continue training to stay healthy and fit while incorporating all the exercises and activities mark and his team have given me. I’ve since referred a few other clients who also report feeling very well cared for. “Hello, I have to say my 8 weeks going here has been so amazing and transformative! I’ve learned so much about my body, not only about my muscles, but how to show my body some respect! The team has made me feel so welcome! I do want to say the Physiotherapist Mark has an amazing touch. People who are afraid of a man touching them, you have nothing to fear. I have a pretty dark background and Mark made me feel so comfortable. All the staff love what they do, it shows. I have felt like about of the Glassier family going into my appointments. The staff are so welcoming and truly wonderful. Both Marks are truly talented and have an eye for knowing what is wrong with your body. Physiotherapist Mark has a magic touch. “I cannot recommend Glasier Physiotherapy enough. The tag-team approach between Mark and Mark is fantastic—having one focus on manual manipulation while the other works on strengthening creates a really well-rounded recovery plan. What sets them apart is their ability to explain complex body mechanics in plain English. They don't just treat the symptoms; they ensure you actually understand how the injury happened and how everything in the body is connected. It’s rare to find practitioners who prioritize patient education as much as they do. On top of the great clinical care, Aimee at the front desk is incredibly friendly and helpful. She was proactive in touching base with WSIB regularly to ensure my coverage was seamless and even handled getting extensions when needed.
