“It really pains me to give a bad review because I’ve been going to Dr. Nye’s office for many years and I think Dr. Nye is wonderful. I’ve never had a bad experience until now. Unfortunately, a filling broke and I’ve been experiencing nerve pain. The receptionist kept trying to book me in for a cleaning, but I can’t have a cleaning until the filling is fixed. I asked multiple times to be put on standby for an appointment for my filling and she kept phoning me for cleaning appointments instead. After 4 conversations and several weeks of waiting, the receptionist called me for another cleaning appointment, then kept cutting me off so I couldn’t even re-explain my situation. She told me I should go to another dentist and slammed the phone down. So, yes, I will go to another dentist. Sorry, Dr. Nye, but you have a big problem at your front desk. After all these years of great service, this experience has soured me and I won’t be back.”Read moreShow less

“I got a filling done by dr nye, throughout the years I’ve been feeling pain every time I chewed with the tooth. I even had to return a couple of times because the filling kept falling out. The filling recently fell out today so I decided to move to another dentist. Turns out when dr nye was doing the filling he didn’t fill it properly. Due to this throughout the years my tooth was rotting, and now I need a root canal. Take my advice, don’t come here, you will just waste your money.”Read moreShow less

“Very bad experience. Please don’t go there. Very rude, disrespectful, , dishonest, disgusting receptionist. I have been there for many years and she was always judgmental, demanding and discriminatory. Called to book an appointment and was told I am problematic because I have not go there for a while even under pandemic. And went there as scheduled but declined to be serviced. Be aware, they choose clients who speak their language as their preference. She needs to take ethic course and can’t imagine what will the dentist be with such a disgraceful employee!👎👎👎👎”Read moreShow less

“It's hard to find a Cantonese dentist so we've been coming here a while. But enough is enough. The receptionist has overbilled us (and our insurance) multiple times and we've had to follow up repeatedly to get an explanation or charges waived. These shady practices are not acceptable. “Wow! I've never had a filling fixed so quickly and comfortably. Fast, friendly, professional service... and best of all, no "upsell" on all the unnecessary cosmetic options that some of my previous dentists have tried to sell me. Just good, solid, professional and friendly dental care! And did I mention the the dental technician who cleaned my teeth had a very gentle touch? Before I came to Dr Nye, 30 years ago, I went to a different dentist who told me I needed lots and lots of expensive work.
