“Attended my 1st ever acupuncture session with Hailey straight after a repeat session with Maddalena. Hailey immediately had a calming presence and explained what was going on. She has a great sense of humour and was very accommodating and understanding while we went through the intake part of our initial session, as I was tightly wound and anxious about everything. I have always been a skeptic of fringe or questionable medicine, but acupuncture has been proven by science more recently, so I was willing to give it a try. For me, my brain has been improving with my trauma and anxiety, but my body was still catching up. My brain was on board with treatment, but my body was stuck in fight/flight mode. We had a beginner session with 12 pins smaller than a human hair that I barely felt. The sound of them being pulled out of my outer ear was a satisfying POP :) I walked away calm and more centred/grounded. I awoke today still calmer than before our session yesterday. I immediately booked another session for 5 days after our 1st. It's been a delight. I highly recommend having a mental health session with Maddie, followed by one of the other complementary therapy methods straight after, if you can. They complement each other perfectly. I may try a myofascial massage sometime soon to see how that works for me, too. Highly recommend!! Maddie for my brain health, Hailey for my body's nervous system. I'm converted. You're not too 'manly' to try the 'woo woo medicine'. It has scientific backing now, and Hailey has convinced my skeptical, hard-headed self.”Read moreShow less
