“The massage itself was good. Both therapists were professional, checked in frequently to make sure the pressure was comfortable, and my boyfriend and I had a good experience with the actual treatment. I have no complaints about the massage or the staff who worked on us. The reason for my low rating is the pricing and how it was advertised. We booked the “Couples Massage 60 Minutes (1st Time Promo)” listed at $119 on the booking page. As most people would, I understood that to mean $119 for a COUPLE. Instead, we were each charged that price PER PERSON, bringing the total to almost $300 after tax and tip. When I contacted the clinic afterward, they explained that the price was per person and admitted that this was not made clear on the booking page. They apologized for the confusing wording but did not offer any refund, credit, or other resolution. If the booking page had clearly stated ”$119 per person,” I would have made a different decision before booking. The massage was enjoyable, but the misleading pricing completely overshadowed the experience. I hope they update their booking page so future customers don’t make the same mistake. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I feel like I got scammed by a “couple price” but was charged “per person”.”Read moreShow less

“I booked this massage after seeing multiple influencers promoting it. The videos made it look like a nice experience, highlighting things like oils, hot stones, drinks, chocolates, and in at least one case, a body scrub. I want to be clear that I did not receive a body scrub, so either that influencer received a different service or a different package than I did. The first-time price was around $119, which seemed reasonable based on what was being advertised. Unfortunately, the actual massage was below average. What stood out immediately was the lack of a proper assessment. Usually, a therapist will ask detailed questions about your concerns, injuries, and treatment goals before starting. Here, I was simply told to get on the table. 😂 When the therapist came in, she asked where it “hurt” and that was essentially the entire consultation. I mentioned couple problem areas. The whole session focused on those spots while the rest of my body was worked on VERY quickly and almost like she just wanted to be done with it. Mind you this was an hour massage and only 2 spots were properly worked. It felt rushed and incomplete. So disappointing. I also paid attention to the oil being used and it was "Rose Fragrant Oil," not rose essential oil. I couldnt find ingredient info. Fragance oils can irritate sensitive skin or trigger allergic reactions, I think customers should be given more transparency about what is being applied to their bodies. The hot stones were used very briefly, roughly a minute or so. There was also no tea, despite that being something I had seen mentioned online. What I found (not offered) was orange-infused water. The treatment room was quite small, somewhat disorganized, and not as clean as I expected. I noticed dust in several areas, which didn't align with the premium image being presented on social media. The one highlight of my visit was the receptionist. She was friendly, welcoming, professional. She provided the best service of the entire visit. My biggest issue is the gap between the marketing and the reality. Many of the influencers promoting this business on social media appear to be micro-influencers receiving free services. That's important context for potential customers because paying customers (like me) may not receive the same experience being shown in those videos.”Read moreShow less

“I had the best massage of my life at Gallery Wellness with Alice. I’ve had plenty of massages before, but this one stood above the rest. Alice was incredibly intuitive as she knew exactly where I was holding tension and worked it out in a way that felt both effective and relaxing. I left feeling lighter, calmer, and completely reset. I even took some of her flyers to hand out at my work because I genuinely want people to experience how good it was. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on. “Came here on a Friday afternoon with my old university friend who was visiting U of T for a campus tour. We got pretty tired from all the walking around the campus area, so we searched Google Maps for a nearby massage spot and discovered Gallery Wellness — what a great find! The place has a really elegant and clean atmosphere, very calming and well-maintained. They were promoting a couple's massage package, so we decided to go for it — perfect for catching up while relaxing. Our therapists, Alice and Laura, were incredibly polite and professional. After the initial check-in about pressure preference, they gave us complete peace and quiet (which was exactly what we needed — we both ended up dozing off because it felt so good!). Laura noticed my lower back was extremely tight (from all the walking), and she spent extra time focusing on that area during the session — very attentive and skilled. I felt so much relief afterward. The best part? The couple's massage promotion came with a surprise gift — two Magic Bags! Super thoughtful. I picked both for my friend as a little thank-you.
