“My eye test with Dr Hare was very thorough and explained every step of the way which I really appreciated. Because of a change in prescription I explored new glasses and was helped by Rick who was exceptionally knowledgeable and honest about what frames I should be looking for. “I always find the staff at this location very warm and welcoming. They have been extremely helpful over the years, and my first experience with Dr. McKenzie today was excellent. “I had a great experience at FYidoctors on Luckakuck Way. The optometrists here are very professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. The customer service was excellent as well. “Amazing and very kind staff! Doctor is great too. Got my glasses in a week after they got lost, they put in a special request for me. And when my nose pads broke they fixed them on the spot for free. It’s a great place to go for all your eyesight needs!”

“I read some of the negative reviews and I am surprised with what they wrote. I am thinking those individuals must have been having a bad day. Just maybe they took it out on the staff, or maybe they were the type of people that wants to be treated like they are royalty??? It was my first time going to FYi on Monday, March 2, 2026. My experience with Dr Anna MacKenzie and the staff was very pleasant. I was never one to think about writing reviews, but since I had a very pleasant appointment with them, I was drawn to write one. Besides the interaction with Dr Anna MacKenzie, I also dealt with the other 3 staff members. All those ladies were very professional, friendly, and informative. The reason why I am so impressed with my eye appointment is because there was never a time that I felt pressured to purchasing frames, or eye drops from them. It was never suggested that I should purchase those items from them at all. I already decided to purchase the frames and eye drops from them before I went in there. Usually when you walk into a place of business, they would try to sell you something or do anything to make more money off you. NOT in this case with FYi. Because of my choice of frames I picked out, I was told about the special discount I was getting. That was a bonus! “My daughter came in for an appointment in this month. Megan was so kind and Dr. Christopher Hare was so efficient. He took the time to carefully check my daughter's eyes and he was very knowledgeable and quick to refer her to a specialist. My daughter is neurodivergent and had a condition in which she needed special needs at the place and they accommodated her very respectfully and were extremely considerate. I was so lucky to find this place. I wish other medical places in Canada has this level of consideration and understanding that the patient needs. The office itself had so many selections for glasses and looked quite modern in it's design and super clean. Staffs were friendly and down to earth. I highly recommend this place!”Read moreShow less
