“I was very impressed with the entire process from online booking for eye exam, all the interactions I had with the staff as well as my new optometrist Dr. Terynn Chan! Everything was very punctual, efficient but thorough! I've gone to a few optometrists in the Lower Mainland but will definitely be sticking with this one.”

“I was impressed with how large a facility this is. Two waiting areas, many different examination rooms as well as being well staffed. I felt they listened and understood my concerns and the doctor was very thorough, but pleasant during the eye exam. For choosing the glasses, they have a large variety of frames and a technician carefully measured my eyes and explained clearly what options were available for ordering the lenses. I would recommend using FYidoctors for getting your eyes examined and buying glasses.”

“Dr. Jennifer Durst was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough during both my eye exam and my son’s. She took the time to listen to all of my son’s endless stories 😄 and made him feel comfortable and important throughout the appointment. Her warm and caring approach made the whole experience enjoyable for both of us. It’s not easy to keep a child engaged during an eye exam, but she handled it with such patience and professionalism. We truly appreciate the excellent care and highly recommend Dr. Durst to anyone looking for an amazing eye doctor!”

“My experience at FYidoctors New Westminster this morning was a complete disaster. Before going, I called and explicitly mentioned I’d be bringing my 1-year-old. The front desk told me to bring my insurance cards so they could check my coverage before the eye exam. Yet upon arrival, they suddenly couldn't process direct billing. To make matters worse, the male receptionist arrogantly claimed that he only checked my insurance because "I requested him to," shifting the blame as if doing his basic job was a favor to me.The worst part was the medical negligence. Only during the exam did the technician ask if I was nursing, stating I couldn't get the eye drops if I was. No one bothered to mention this crucial medical restriction over the phone despite knowing I have a 1-year-old. The front desk's toxic attitude, combined with the clinic's failed pre-screening, completely wasted a busy mother's time. Avoid this location at all costs.”

“Doctor Jennifer, is very professional and kind. I have been through a hard time with keratoconus and she was always so patient with my process when using scleral lenses. “FYidoctors- New Westminster! The team is super friendly, professional, and always goes above and beyond to help. From start to finish, everything is smooth and hassle-free. They have a great range of frames, and the customer representatives are always kind and helpful. I’ve been a repeat customer for years, and I’ll admit—I’m not the easiest client! But they always find a way to ensure I leave satisfied. A special shoutout to my favorite staff, Raegan—he’s incredibly patient and makes every visit a great experience. Kudos to him for doing an excellent job every time I go in for a new frame and glasses fitting! And if I ever have an issue, the team is always happy to help.
