“My wife and I needed new prescription sunglasses, so we went to FYi this morning to check out their selection of brand name sunglasses 🕶. After finding a couple pairs that we really liked, Cheyenne helped us with the sizing, benefit coverage, coatings we liked best, warranty, etc. She did an awesome job and was quite helpful and knowledgeable! She made for a fun and enjoyable experience 😀”

“10/10 experience! The team at FYidoctors provides a truly phenomenal service. Following prescription issues from another clinic, they spent close to a year working with me, remaking multiple sets of lenses until they were 100% perfect. During my last visit, they even replaced a pair of frames with a broken hinge at no charge. The entire staff is kind, helpful, and professional. Special thanks to Kelsey for her outstanding customer service, communication and willingness to go above and beyond. I can't recommend FYidoctors more.”

“Recently my husband has ended up in a wheelchair, and FYI took that in stride. They did ALL their exams with him in the wheelchair, helped him purchase new eyeglasses, and ensured that they fit well. The washroom was roomy enough for him too! “Dr. Dammeyer of FYI doctors - cannot say enough good things or his staff, particularly Ashlee whom I've dealt with quite a bit. Prior to seeing this doctor, I was living in Calgary for university and was referred to an eye specialist at Seema Eye Care, Dr. Jason Wesolosky, who ran every test under the sun for over 2 hours and said my double vision that was happening as the day went on, was "nothing that he could see". I had had every lab test and blood test under the sun with Dr. Feyisayo Elesin at Crowfoot Calgary who referred me to Seema when nothing showed up. Almost a year of frustration. with me wondering if I was having severe neurological issues and being unable to drive at night for over 2-3 years, I was in Grande Prairie and stopped in to FYI as I'd always had great service in the past. Within MINUTES of my appointment with Dr. Dammeyer, he put lenses in front of my glasses and VOILA! NO MORE DOUBLE VISION! I almost cried, but I gasped in shock and said, "what did you do!!!". He explained very kindly, "when people mature" ha ha, I laughed, "get old you mean", and he smiled, continuing, "when people mature, sometimes not as much light gets in and you need prisms". He gave me plastic prisms to put on my one lens until my prisms came in for my new glasses and PRESTO CHANGO magic beans, I have a whole new life! No more double vision, AND I can see perfectly fine at night! I cannot wear contacts unless I have prisms in sunglasses, but I'm totally fine that I'm at the age where I can happily wear more accessories (glasses) and in order for the gift of seeing perfectly fine. I was very scared, no doctor and no specialist could find anything wrong, and yet, this young, humble, smart as a whip kind doctor discovered it in under 2 minutes. Not only that, FYI took the time to work with me to change the prisms from 2 to 4, and changed my prescription to work with it. That doctor led me to the front doors to see "real life" images, see how far I could see with a 2 vs. a 3 or 4, asked me when images doubled, looked at images down the hall.........in summary, he made sure I could actually see in the real world living my real life. When I say he gave me my life and confidence back, I'm not exaggerating. If you aren't seeing him and you are experiencing binocular vision dysfunction, strabismus, or phoria (in other words, double vision or trouble at night driving), you need to RUN to go and book an appointment. Bit of a longer review I know, but I cannot say enough good things about this amazing Doctor who gave me my life and freedom back. Thank you, Dr. Dammeyer.”

“I want to acknowledge staff at FYI Doctors at 12111 99 St for great service and friendly staff. Every time I have gone for an appointment or need to have my glasses adjusted I have made to feel welcome. And if I am in line they take the time to acknowledge me and tell me they will be right with me shortly. Just good old fashioned friendly customer service in my opinion. Nothing worse than standing in line at a business and wondering if they’ve seen you because they haven’t acknowledged you.
