“I had something stuck under my eyelid and needed help ASAP. The Eagle Creek FYI staff and Dr. Hinton got me in quickly and were very compassionate and helpful. The offending object was removed quickly and painlessly. Thank you so much!”

“The staff are friendly, patient and the machines they use for testing are clean and comfortable, no need for pupil dilation so you can still drive after. But the separate locations can't share files like I was hoping, meaning one FYI location doesn't have all the testing info I got from another location which I thought was bonkers. Having known this I would've stuck with the same location, because I had to create a new profile which is a smooth process at least. Also, none of the helpers or even the doctor himself knew that sudden cessation from cannabis can cause eye pressure increase and they flagged me for glaucoma risk after I had told every staff in there of my cannabis cessation. It just seemed to humor them more than taking it seriously. Also the screws in the glasses came loose so get them to put screw glue in it even if they say its fine. With all that said I will still be coming back just for the superior testing machinery, clean spaces, and friendly staff, plus great variety designer frames to choose from.”

“Had a great optometrist appointment. She was great. Explained everything so I had no questions. When it was time to go pick frames and lenses. The girl that I dealt with gave me 3 options of lenses told me I had to have progressive lenses. I told her that I definitely didn't need $1000 lenses for work. I received a work call that I declined with a message. She passed me the interac machine. I pay and question her so I don't get to pick frames? She tells me " OH you were on you phone and didn't think you were interested. " This girl seemed to be annoyed that she had to sit down and deal with me. Worst customer service! Sorry you lost our business. Thats 3 people's lenses and frames. Good job Asya👍”

“the Optometrists are great.. the receptionist is another story. Being friendly and pleasant are the big parts of customer service, she didn’t smile … yet she comes across as arrogant.. the way she talked . I might not go there again.”

“I am traveling from out of province and usually deal with an FYI in my area. Unfortunately, I dropped a can of shaving cream on my glasses and bent them quite badly. Brandy straightened them for me and had to re-string the frames to hold my lenses again. She had me all fixed up with this complimentary service in 20 minutes. Amazing and cheerful service. I would definitely recommend this location! Thanks Brandy!”

“Always a good experience with friendly, knowledgeable staff. Cassie conducted all of the preliminary tests. She was very clear and calming in her instructions on what to do and what to expect. Dr. Hinton is a trusted expert - always calming and very clear with his explanations of the state of my vision. Brandy is very helpful with frame selection, explaining options for lenses, health insurance coverage, etc.”

“I had a great visit. Dr. Hinton alleviated concerns I had about changes to my vision, and we had a lot of fun doing it! I'm grateful he puts up with my detailed questions on the physics of it all. Picking my new frames was surprisingly fun, too. My technician (I'm so sorry that I've forgotten your name) was delightful and quick to notice when my energy started to flag. She gave just the right amount of encouragement (and discouragement when the frames really did NOT suit me), helped me minimize costs when needed and was patient with my indecision. I felt supported and am looking forward to my new glasses. Thanks, all!”

Very considerate about my budget and insurance options. Thank you for making me feel right at home. 🇵🇭💖 Optometrist took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all my questions about my eye health. The eye exam was thorough and up-to-date with the latest tech - I loved the retinal imaging! The office is modern, clean, and cozy. It was such a fantastic care from start to finish.
