“Lacked explanation so we could understand what would work best . Seemed more concerned with $$ than actually helping. No follow up after 3 eye exams all needing to be paid for. We're not able to get glasses or contact lenses that would work. No call back to see if contacts worked. No prescription available. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. Even though thats what we paid for. charged us another half eye exam on top of the contact lense exam fee . Even though we had an eye exam a couple months before in office . Kept waiting 40 mins after appointment was scheduled with out a sorry it will be a bit or doctor is running behind . When we went to leave and rebook. Were told we needed to see them that day. Doctor and reception were rude . After months of no solution to glasses or contacts. We went to spec savers. They optometrist looked at vision and prescription for free. They explained everything for frames and what would work and why so we could understand. As it was my husband's first time in glasses. Spec savers helped us within an hour and had them in 2 weeks even gave us a 50 dollar gift card when we picked up. Also with costs of almost half of what it would have costed at fyi . Thats the kind of customer service we were looking for . Definitely would NOT recommend or be back as a customer. Terrible experience”

“I liked the new Doctor, I think her name was Campbell. She was very informative. I also thought that Megan was very helpful when helping me pick out the type and colour of frames that I wanted for my new pair of glasses. She also adjusted my current pair so that they would fit better.. Thanks for all of your advice and help ladies.”

“I just had the most fabulous experience at FYidoctors. I’ve recently relocated to Courtenay for work and within my first week I accidentally sat on my beloved pair of bifocals… and I did some damage. I dropped into FYi on my break today and the beautiful Barb had me sorted and out the door in 10 minutes. She’s a magician. I’ve definitely found my new Dr’s of Optometry.”
