“First this coming to this clinic. The front staff were welcoming and knew how to talk and engage with a toddler (This is for my child's first eye exam). “Dr. Chan has been my regular optometrist for over a decade at this PoCo location. His attention to detail, his meticulous record keeping and eye health monitoring, and his expert skills using both classical instruments and high end modern devices has always reassured me that any health issues would be caught and treated promptly. He is also great at keeping kids, even toddlers, engaged and curious, making the eye check a fun activity. I hope the Port Moody location turns out to be a success as well.”Read moreShow less

“No exaggeration when I say Dr. Chan is the best optometrist I have ever seen (no pun intended). He is very friendly, incredibly thorough with the examinations, and clearly explains everything he's doing and why he's doing it. He always invites questions and carefully explains his findings to ensure his patients feel at ease. There are some doctors who are good at their job but you can tell that they don't really care for their patients, but Dr. Chan is the total opposite. I have never seen a doctor so caring of their patients. Part of me doesn't want to refer my friends to him because I already need to book months in advance to get an appointment, he's that good of a doctor! I'm convinced world peace could be achieved if all doctors were like Dr. Chan. Thank you Fremont Eye Center!”Read moreShow less

“Had my regular 2 year exam. Testing was comprehensive, Doc was very good at keeping the explanations of the results simple. The supporting staff up front was super friendly and easy to deal with. The ladies took the time to help me in choosing the right frames, with zero sales pressure, which i appreciated. “The team at Fremont Eye Centre is absolutely amazing. They are always so welcoming and family-friendly, which makes a huge difference when bringing kids in for appointments. My children feel comfortable there, and the staff are always patient and kind with them. They also offer direct billing, which makes everything so easy and hassle-free. I’ve never had a single issue with appointments, billing, or service. What I really appreciate is that the whole team is great — I never feel like I need to request a specific doctor because everyone there provides excellent care. One time they even stayed open a little later so I could pick up my contacts when they were closing, which really shows how much they care about their patients.
