“Having a work injury that lead me to spine surgery I started coming for warm pool therapy. it has and is a blessing. The staff as well the owner are amazing! I am grateful to have people that truly care about your recovery and well-being. Chelsea at the front is a breath of fresh air with her good morning smile when you walk in the door. “I’ve been going to Fraser Valley Aquatic rehabilitation for several years now. I could not be happier with the help they’ve provided in my rehabilitation. The physical therapists are fabulous. “I suffered a massive AVM hemorrhagic stroke and was rendered triplegic with both of my legs paralyzed along with my left arm. My time working with the team at Fraser Valley Aquatic Rehabilitation (FVAR) was instrumental in my ability to regain strength and range of motion in my affected limbs and gave me further motivation to continue. It's not easy but it's a very empowering environment. Each gain led to the next one and it was extremely positive to have the backing of every therapist at the centre. I give my heartfelt salute and gratitude to the entire crew at FVAR for their expertise, dedication and energy they bring to each and every session. I've spent years in various clinical rehab settings and I can say without a doubt or any hesitation, Fraser Valley Aquatic Rehabilitation gets it done from top to bottom. “My son Travis has been attending FVAR since 2010 after a severe brain injury. When Travis started he was unable to move any of his limbs or hold his head up. He now swims laps with assistance and walks with assistance in the pool. The team at FVAR work exceptionally well together, make individual programs suited to each client and make it an enjoyable experience for the client and family. “It has been a few years since we began our journey with Fraser Valley Aquatic Rehabilitation. From day one, we were treated with such kindness and respect, always offered hope for renewed health. We have been very blessed with each staff member and we appreciate our weekly jaunts to the pool. Little by little, Kevin gets stronger and more cognitive through therapy and movement. “I have been attending Fraser Valley aquatic Rehabilitation since 2017. I suffered a spinal cord injury in August 2015, and was doing on land physio after. While I did notice some changes in my body, I was feeling quite discouraged. I was so happy to find the pool, because after my first session there I realized I could move muscles than I realized. The staff at Fraser Valley aquatic Rehabilitation is also so amazing! I feel totally safe and comfortable. It's like family there. They have always been so supportive of my rehab goals, and always cheer me up when I feel discouraged. I would 100% recommend Fraser Valley aquatic Rehabilitation.”Read moreShow less

“When I had my first knee replacement the folks at FVAR worked with me to have a pre and Post Opp plan on how to prepare for, and recover from such a major surgery. After my surgery as soon as I could get into the water I started my therapy. My surgeon was very happy with my progress and I made a FULL recovery in what he said was a very short time ... When it came time for my second knee replacement I followed the same process and had a FULL recovery from that surgery as well. The experienced and knowledgeable staff at FVAR helped me with both my physical recovery AND with staying focussed and motivated through out the process. I found the staff professional And courteous, and they really focussed on keeping me motivated to work hard and push for a full recovery. I would recommend FVAR for anyone who is looking to prepare for, and recover from a major surgery.”Read moreShow less
