“Forward Physio, it's a great name but an even better concept. I have been multiple times for physical therapy, chiropractic treatment and massage therapy. Every time I visit I experience an improvement in my issues (though you have to put in the work they give you). “Front staff - amazing! Very professional, friendly, and clearly doing a great job keeping things running smoothly! Physiotherapists/etc - every time I have been here, I watch the greetings from each professional with their client, and every single person is greeted with a smile and genuine care. I was referred to Shockwave physiotherapy for a rather large and painful bunion, of which surgery isn't an option owing to Osteoporosis. My first appointment with Matthew was awesome. Normally there's that awkward first meeting with appointments for me, but he made me feel at ease. We discussed my concerns and he went through a plan with me. He was supportive of the Shockwave, but wanted to also incorporate a few exercises geared to strengthen muscles around my foot. In only 3 sessions, we established a program that I could easily do at home with no additional equipment other than a resistance band. My pain is not just manageable, it's nearly gone. Matthew at Forward Physical Therapy is the rare healthcare professional who actually listens to what you're saying instead of waiting for you to stop talking so he can give a textbook answer. He took the time to understand my specific concerns, my goals, and my body's unique ability to find creative new ways to complain. From there, he built a rehab plan tailored to me and not some generic handout that's been photocopied since 2008. He's knowledgeable, empathetic, patient, and genuinely invested in helping people get better. Every appointment feels collaborative, and I've always felt heard, respected, and supported. Also, a huge shout-out to the front desk team. They're friendly, organized, welcoming, and somehow manage to make dealing with appointments and insurance feel almost enjoyable (which should qualify them for some kind of award.) “This was my first massage appointment with Sharleen Heinrichs. It was a 30 minute deep tissue massage. Sharleen was very professional and ask lots of questions to make sure that I got the massage that I was looking for. We discussed the pressure and the points that I needed to be looked at and she concentrated on exactly what I needed. She also continued to confirm what I was doing during the massage and increased pressure as required. I will be booking another appointment in the future.
