“I’ve been seeing Dr. Owen since 2022. I live in Edmonton, and his clinic is in Blackfalds, so it’s about a 90-minute drive for me—but it’s absolutely worth it. From the very first appointment, I knew his dedication to the practice of chiropractic was above anyone I’ve ever seen. He addressed every concern I had, explained exactly what I needed to work on, and gave me exercises and techniques that I continue to use to this day. He has been the only chiropractor I’ve ever let work on me because he knows exactly how my body works and what to adjust based on what we’re dealing with that day. We always do a yearly x-ray and EMG check-up to track progress. From the years I’ve been going there, my first x-ray compared to my most recent one shows incredible positive changes—progress that’s entirely thanks to staying consistent with his treatments and implementing the exercises and guidance he provides into my own training. I’ve always struggled with Tourette’s, particularly the physical tics. When I get an adjustment from Dr. Owen, it relieves a lot of the accumulated stress, pain, and tension from daily life. It feels like he “opens the dam,” allowing everything—the nervous system, the body, and energy—to flow freely. His touch has a way of making my body function the way it’s supposed to and provides a relief I can’t get anywhere else. He’s helped me so much that I drive out there every two weeks for appointments, and I always make sure to go first thing in the morning. He’s even told me that he’d come in on one of his days off to make sure my two-week schedule stays consistent. Dr. Owen owns this clinic with his wife, Jeran—it’s a true family-owned business. I am very appreciative of Jeran, who manages all of the administrative and back-end operations, keeping everything running smoothly. The front desk team, Tracy and Lisa, make it easy for clients like me to book appointments and handle any issues that come up. Their support takes the stress out of coming into the clinic and allows me to focus solely on my adjustments with Dr. Owen, who is always on point because everything else is so well taken care of. Being able to see Dr. Owen has even helped me in my own career as a therapist. He’s given me someone to look up to professionally, and I’ve learned a lot from him about what it means to truly care for people. “Dr. Owen is always kind and amazing. My spine is very delicate and finicky and he works very hard to understand what works for me although it's taken alot of patience, trial and error. But he gets it figured out. His receptionist could use a little sugar in her coffee in the mornings though. “What an absolutely fantastic experience! Such a beautiful, clean and welcoming office!! The receptionist was an angel, so so sweet! Dr Owen is amazing at what he does! “Dr. Owen is amazing! He cares about his patients and makes sure he understands all your concerns. Super friendly and nice. He even goes the extra mile to try and get my boyfriend in with minimal notice (boyfriend works away). He works on my whole family (All different ages, even my 3 month old!) “Dr. Owen has been our chiropractor for going on two years now. He is extremely skilled. He discovered an issue in my back that I didn't know I had and after adjusting my treatments for this issue I started seeing improvement for which I'd been waiting years and gone through three other chiropractors. My youngest son was knock kneed and he hasn't needed to go into leg braces because with Dr. Owen working on his legs we've been seeing gradual improvement. Even my skeptic husband has been converted with improvement to his snoring and tooth grinding at night.
