“So thrilled to have found this absolutely amazing physiotherapist!! He really knows what he's doing and is clearly very knowledgeable and thorough and effective, as well as caring and patient. Always explains what he's doing and asks for feedback as to whether the treatment is okay or too intense. I had a very painful right hand side of my neck for months and months - especially at night, so wasn't getting much sleep. I tried everything - heat, ice, muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatories, therapeutic massage, Rx strength muscle relaxants, four different pillows, changing my posture, changing the chair I sit in, etc., but nothing made any significant difference. No word of a lie and no exaggeration, the morning after my first appointment with Daragh I noticed a HUGE difference immediately upon waking up. I was blown away by such a sudden reduction in pain and figured it probably wouldn't last long but it totally did!! My pain level went from like a 7 out of 10 to about a 3 after that one session!! I was sleeping normally without any painkillers or muscle relaxants after the second appointment and 1000% quality of life improvement! He is just amazing! He has since also correctly diagnosed and treated my chronic hip pain, that I was suffering with for well over a year!! If you've been told it's bursitis and nothing will help but rest you may want to check in with Daragh...👍🏻 FLUID Multidisciplinary Health has just moved to their Bedford Highway location near the Sobeys and it's a lovely, well-appointed and bright space (lots of huge windows!) locally owned by a super friendly husband and wife team! There is lots of parking (ignore the signs, lol) and they are dog-friendly if you check with them first and have a well-behaved dog. 😊🥰 I am so thrilled to have found a physiotherapist of this caliber at such a wonderful new business! “Since my car accident, Joe (physio) has been incredible with the treatments, handling all the paperwork, guiding me through exercises that fit into my routine, and connecting me with other helpful resources. Chanel (chiro) is also fantastic. Whenever needed, she steps in seamlessly. The communication and teamwork between them is outstanding. The clinic is clean, welcoming, and offers a bunch of services. “Great experience overall. Joe is friendly, funny, and easy to talk to, which makes my physio appointments comfortable. But more importantly he actually treats my lower back pain and knee issue properly and explains what’s going on instead of just doing quick fixes. “Fluid Multidisciplinary Clinic is exactly what Halifax needed: a comprehensive, convenient one-stop shop. Dr. Chanel is a phenomenal chiropractor who genuinely takes the time to understand and care for her patients. She is attentive, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her approach is evidence-based. She’s not just about “cracking your back” and full body realignments but about treating the root of the problem through rehab-focused therapy.
