“Working with Mark Volmer and the team at Flourish Clinic has completely turned my life and health around for the better. CIRS and mold poisoning slowly but surely took nearly everything from me. I lost my home, my health, my career, and myself. I didn't know what was wrong with me. I was living in a nightmare of symptoms: chronic fatigue, insomnia, recurrent infections, crippling anxiety and depression, food intolerances and allergies, severe pain. I had seen every kind of MD and alternative healer you could imagine, but nothing worked. Then, after moving into a house that had extremely high levels of black mold, I got much worse and became a complete shell of myself. Things got very bad very quickly. Even after moving out of that house, I was reacting to everything, could hardly function, had breathing issues, asthma, and more. My mental health completely fell apart. That's when I looked into CIRS. I found Mark's clinic, spoke with Mark, was tested for CIRS, and given a clear plan to healing. I finally had answers. Working with Mark has been different than with any other health practitioner I've worked with. Mark is very caring, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He has had a huge amount of patience with me and my particular challenges and has taken the time I have needed to reach wellness. By the time I found his clinic, I was unable to tolerate any medications without reacting to them. He was able to work with me by getting me on CIRS treatment in a modified way that I could tolerate, and it worked. Mark's clinic is run very smoothly and thoroughly. Erin and Sheena are fabulous and have been there to help every step of the way. Mark also has a wonderful mental health counselor, Eve Paraschuk, as part of his team, who I am working with now. She is really helping me with the traumas that came with going through those nightmares. CIRS is a complicated and difficult illness. Mark provides answers, simplicity in healing, steady guidance through the process, and education. He is very intelligent and compassionate in his ability to work with the difficulties that come with CIRS. Through working with Mark, I have reversed: -Endometriosis -Insomnia -Chronic Fatigue -Brain Fog -Severe anxiety and depression -Recurrent infections -Asthma -Burning lungs -Histamine Intolerance/Allergic Reactions -Food intolerances (I can eat at restaurants again!) -Acid Reflux -Gastritis -Medication intolerance -Probably more I am not remembering right now For the first time in years, I got to celebrate birthdays and the holidays with my family, friends, and loved ones this past year and truly enjoy them. I am myself again. And I have my career as a musician and music teacher back as well! I will be forever grateful that I finally found answers and healing through Flourish Clinic. My father is going to now be looking into treatment with Mark as he is showing many signs of having CIRS. I'm so grateful he will be able to get treated if needed. “I can’t recommend Mark and the Flourish team enough. Their knowledgeable, compassionate care literally gave me my life back after 15 years of suffering without any answers from traditional medical professionals. Their process follows a fully transparent roadmap and is completely explained in the first stage of treatment. A small initial investment reveals your CIRS diagnosis (or not) so it is a very small financial risk to decide whether to pursue treatment. Yes, CIRS treatment is expensive, but unfortunately that fact that it is not covered by insurance is not the practitioner’s fault (we all need to work on this condition getting the medical recognition it needs) I quickly saw how skilled, informed, capable, and caring Mark was. He had input and ideas for all my road bumps along the way and was always willing to discuss options for any issue I had. Mark and everyone on the staff are total professionals and always available. They break down a complicated illness into manageable bites and made me feel truly cared for and cared about. I am almost completely healed from CIRS and I owe it to the top-notch care of everyone at Flourish Clinic. I researched other options before I committed to Mark and Flourish and I can honestly say that they provide the best value and program that I could find. “Biggest rip off ever. Charge an absolutely asinine amount of money as they are the only "Shoemaker certified practitioners in Alberta". They don't actually test exactly according to his protocol, they modify it. They also don't use CSM because they don't have the credentials to prescribe CSM/welchol. They will not help you unless you commit to paying this INSANEEE amount of money and they gate keep information trying to gain your business. It's honestly disgusting. People who suffer from mold or biotoxin illness are probably some of the people who need the most help and businesses like this pray on people's weakness and desperation. Big thumbs down. “A little over a year ago I learned of CIRS and felt like I finally had some answers to all the health challenges I was experiencing for decades that no one could help me with.
