I could never imagine the owner begging anyone for a review, I've had several lengthy interactions with her and she held herself with dignity, respect and professionalism the entire time. Beds are always clean, good vibe in there.”

“As another business owner within the Sylvan Lake community, I can really appreciate how many personal touches Kim has given Fabutan, the neon writing on the doors to draw pple in, she exudes passion for the Fabutan brand. Every chance I get go pop in to book red light and/or stand up(which is multiple times a week) when she isn't with customers, she's always busy cleaning and/or working on marketting her passion. I kkknnnooowwww a lot of these unfavorable reviews are purely due to some sort jealousy (youre probably just mad because she's hotter than 90% of us) especially since all of them are from new accounts that have no other reviews left 👀 SHAME ON YOU. If youre looking for a bright, incredibly clean place to get a tan or red light, you will most definitely be greeted by the bubbliest, most passionate and knowledgeable people.”

“So I'm really questioning how authentic these positive reviews are when the owner stops you and begs you to do a review and offers you a discount if you agree to write a glowing review - as she calls it. It left me feeling weird about the experience and to top it all off the experience was not something I enjoyed. Loud music, beds feeling gritty and not very clean. I've been to other Fabutan's and this experience was a 1 star at best -- then to be asked to write a glowing review?? I just think most of these reviews are fake as well as the cringy experience!! 😳”

“I absolutely love coming to this Fabutan! Kim is always so welcoming, cheerful, and friendly, it’s clear she genuinely cares about her clients. She’s been super helpful in explaining the different products and what each one is for, and I’ve never once felt pressured to buy anything, which I really appreciate. The studio is spotless, the atmosphere is always inviting, and I consistently get a great tan. Highly recommend!”

“A very disappointing experienced and not as great as what my friend and I were led to believe about the Sylvan Lake Fabutan from reading ahead online before our visit. We experienced weak beds and a dirty room and bathroom while there. Upon leaving we both realized that the owner is asking for reviews and bribing customers with discounts as we experienced this ourselves. No wonder there are so many "good reviews" if customers are just being paid off to write a review. As we left we were coaxed to write one and the owner even told us what we should write and if we did this we were going to be given a lotion product from her. Then my friend noticed on Facebook posts that the owner tries to get reviews from customers by giving them product. So deceiving and awkward for the customer!!! Especially when the experience was not good. We won't be back and will look at the other tanning businesses in Sylvan or Red Deer instead where we are valued and not paid for a fake review!! Don't believe what you read about this location.”

“From the moment I walked in I was incredibly impressed! The vibe, the BEAUTY, the welcoming staff and the Smells!😍 I had my eyebrows Laminated by Indiana, and I’ve never loved the laminated experience so much! I’ve had my done in the past by 2 different locations and Indiana is the best! I have very course thick brows and they are still perfect today! I also purchased brow butter at the salon and it is the best and keeps my brows looking fab all day! One thing that Kim does that I’ve never seen at tanning salon that I LOVED was they get the tanning bed “ready”. Your bed is warm waiting for you! Thank you again Indiana and Kim! See you next time!”

“This tanning salon is absolutely amazing! I started my tanning journey a few months before my wedding and they were so incredibly helpful to help me achieve my tanning goals. Kim was always there to answer any questions that I had. I have never felt more comfortable than I did during that time. Truly a comfortable, safe and caring atmosphere and I would recommend anyone wanting to tan go to Kim at the Sylvan Lake Fabutan!”
