“I had an emergency problem with one of my eyes. My regular optometrist was closed. I called Family First and they saw me an hour later. I was given a very thorough check and treatment. “Bad experience! Found out five weeks after i ordered my glasses that they never ordered them!! I had paid in full already and was met with quite unprofessional behavior when i went to figure the problem out. Disappointed with my experience, and will likley never return. My optometrist was nice and friendly, but the rest of the employees i spoke to were confusing, were not helpful and the whole situation felt unprofessional. The staff have such a positive attitude and Dr. Willis is simply amazing. She is so thorough and has such a calm presence that puts you right at ease. “I visited Family first when I was seeking a second opinion. They saw my dire situation and were able to get me in the next day. Dr. Willis spent over an hour throughly examining my eye and asking me plenty of questions. She prescribed me meds and told me to follow up. The next day I was still struggling so she offered to stay late to make sure I was taken care of before a long weekend. She is very calm and sympathetic but also very knowledgeable. “I hadn't gone to get my eyes checked or anything for over 10+ years because it was such a miserable experience at a different optometrist, I almost cancelled the day of my appointment even. I'm glad I went through with it, the staff was friendly and Heidi was amazing helping me pick a new pair of frames she was efficient knowledgeable and patient while I made up my mind definitely made the difference in my experience!
